First things first, against my better judgment, I visited a Morrie's dealership today after a history of shady business practices that almost always involves screwing their customers. That's on me. However, a Morrie's dealership today after a history of shady business practices that almost always involves screwing their customers. That's on me. However, it still floors me just how bold these people can be with their deception. It's like an art taught to each of the salesman when they join Morrie's, you almost have to be a liar and a low life as a condition of employment. That being said, they gave me all the excuses about why they wouldn't honor supplier incentives, how there's a shortage of vehicles (while their lot is so full they can barely fit any additional inventory), and how the reason for the shortage are chips even though Mary Barra herself has come out to tell everyone that they're intentionally slowing production to induce shortages. It gets worse...I was upfront that I wouldn't test drive the vehicle without supplier pricing (dealerships out there still honor this program folks). I didn't want to waste their time or my own. I also had an infant in toe and did not want to test drive a vehicle unless they were willing to work with me on pricing. We test drove the vehicle, gave them the info on our trade and Jake said he thought they could get close to beating supplier pricing. We went for a test drive and I told my wife..."watch them low ball us on our trade." They didn't fail to impress. Not only did they low ball us on our trade by 35% (and told us it was because the market has turned even after justifying their outrageous price by claiming inventory was still low), but they also tried to compare it to a deal with supplier pricing and present it to me as if I was stupid enough to think that somehow I was benefitting by paying more for the truck and getting a slight increase in my trade allowance. I was dumbstruck by just how stupid they thought I was. Between their xx excuses to right screwing customers to thinking I was stupid enough to take the deal they put together, I've hardly been more disappointed by a dealership experience. Add to the dishonesty and slimy dealmaking the fact that they wasted our time after we were upfront about our boundaries and these people proved that they're only one level above pond xxxx. They'd have to be to do what they do day in and day out and still be able to sleep at night. Take your time and do your research...there are better (less dishonest) dealers in the Twin Cities. More

My experience was excellent! I knew what I wanted and had done my shopping beforehand. Clem easily addressed any concerns/questions, no pressure.
