I was sent to Morrie's to have a key reprogrammed in a used vehicle I had purchased. I had the option of going to a closer Nissan dealer in Maplewood, but had such a bad experience at that dealer, I will used vehicle I had purchased. She is friendly, knowledgable, eager to make things "right", and very accomodating. I will always return to Morrie's in Brooklyn Park for any of my Nissan dealer needs, because of her. My partner and I came to Nissan Dealership looking for a Murano. We walked in and were introduced to Andrew Hemmelgarn. He was very friendly and took us out to the lot and found our Murano we now own in sec Murano. We walked in and were introduced to Andrew Hemmelgarn. He was very friendly and took us out to the lot and found our Murano we now own in seconds. We test drove it and liked it a lot. I had my 5 year old with me at the time not knowing we were actually going to purchase the same day. My intent was to just shop and see what options I have. Upon our return Andrew quickly worked on getting me started with the credit application and getting my vehicle appraised. I can't remember who appraised my vehicle. Andrew waited with us in the lounge area and kept checking on the progress of the transaction and updating us which were very helpful. Having a little child waiting during a long transaction as we had over president's weekend, she was getting a little antsy and I don't expect anyone to feel it’s their job to entertain but Andrew did a great job with her. He talked to her and she was a bit talkative asking lots of questions. When the transaction was complete, Andrew even came out to help us move some personal belongings from my vehicle to the new vehicle (09 Murano) which was grateful of him. When the transaction was finally done, I was content with my trade in value and the price of the Murano I purchase it for. Even though it was past 6pm (closed hours) I did not feel rushed to be out of the dealership at all. I thank Andrew for his patience with our transaction that day and staying after hours especially on a Saturday evening. I would recommend Andrew for future reference to family or friends that are looking into purchasing a Nissan or Subaru or even a used vehicle. Thanks again Andrew for your time and patience. More
Don't ever buy a car from Morries! I recently bought a 2010 Nissan Certified Murano LE fully loaded with only 20,000 miles on it. We took it home only to realize the next day that this Nissan Certified ve 2010 Nissan Certified Murano LE fully loaded with only 20,000 miles on it. We took it home only to realize the next day that this Nissan Certified vehicle had a defective windshield. Basically across the whole windshield was a distortion or blurriness that made it difficult to focus while driving. How do you miss something like that? So, I had to bring it in to have them check it out. The service manager saw it immediately! I then was told I would have to wait for them to order and receive the new windshield. I had to take off work again to go bring the car in and as I was almost there, I received a call saying the new windshield had a chip in it and I would have to wait yet again. Since the vehicle was never completely detailed correctly, I requested for my trouble, that it be re-detailed after putting in the windshield. After receiving my Murano back after they had it for two days, I found scratches, swirls and buff marks all over the entire vehicle! I was also told their regular detailer had been out and the detailing wasn't satisfactory to them either. They offered for me to bring it back at a later date to have it rebuffed and at this point I really didn't want them to touch it anymore. So, I get home later that night only to find that I received a message that says my plates had arrived the day I dropped the Murano off to get the windshield replaced. Why wouldn't they have put my plates on while they had the vehicle for two days? All I could come up with was, they obviously don't have their crap together. What was really interesting was the day I bought the car everyone wanted to shake my hand and tell me how I was getting such a nice car. As soon as the papers were signed they didn't care about making sure that I was confident and satisfied with my purchase or their dealership. They also send you cards and letters after you make a purchase, thanking you and saying how they strive for 100% customer satisfaction; well in my opinion they should save the paper and give the entire staff, including managers, classes on customer service and business ethics. The whole don't worry, buy happy promise is simply a joke and there are plenty of other dealerships around who actually take care of their customers and really do want to keep your business. More
I have always received excellent service at Morrie's Nissan. It is always refreshing to go to the service department as they are always friendly and explain everything that needs to be done before the Nissan. My experience at Morrie's in Brooklyn Park exceeded my expectations. Anita and Kurt literally went out of their way to make sure I got new keys for my 2001 Pathfinder. Anita was SO friendly, which is very expectations. Anita and Kurt literally went out of their way to make sure I got new keys for my 2001 Pathfinder. Anita was SO friendly, which is very uncommon to find in a dealership! She made the best of a unfortunate situation! Kurt actually agreed to come to my home, since we live so close, and he didn't want us to waste our money on a tow truck! He reprogrammed the new keys for my car and made sure the lost set of keys would not be able to open my vehicle. He was so pleasant, and did a very efficient job even though it was so cold out. I will forever be greatful to Anita and Kurt and their GREAT customer service!I will highly recommend this location, and will continue to by vehicles from Nissan! Thank you! More

We visited Morrie's Nissan and Subaru, looking for a replacement to my 1997 Camry with nearly 215,000 miles on it. We found that everyone we dealt with at Morrie's was friendly and knowledgeable. We particularly liked working with Rob White, who was very knowledgable about our alternatives, and had a low-key approach that fit us well. We settled on a new Altima, and (after two days) we love it! Rob was instrumental in our choosing the Altima, and introduced us to the other staff who helped us make our choice. I put in a pitch for the service waiting room to have cookies on hand, and Ryan Mills actually brought me some! More
