We had a wonderful experience with the Morrie’s Mazda in Minnetonka several years ago, so we assumed the Morrie’s 394 Hyundai in St. Louis Park would be equally as good. It was not. We love our Hyundai vehi Minnetonka several years ago, so we assumed the Morrie’s 394 Hyundai in St. Louis Park would be equally as good. It was not. We love our Hyundai vehicle, but not the sales experience at all. There’s a lot of details that would take too long to cover here. But in general, we felt we were treated great leading up to the purchase decision and then once we committed to buy the vehicle, the process went bad. We were left waiting for long periods of time to do paperwork, even though we had made an appointment. We were not told the car was missing floor mats, and when my husband enquired about Morrie’s giving us a pair, the manager, Ryan, said to him that “somebody’s got to pay for them”. Ryan is also the man who came and told us our trade in car was only worth them giving us $2750 for it. When I told him I was surprised and thought it was worth more as a trade in, he offered $3000. A few days after we bought the Hyundai, I checked Morrie’s 394 webpage and saw they were selling our Chrysler for $6,900! Yes, we should not have been so trusting, but we were not expecting Ryan to offer us a dollar amount knowing full well that they would turn around and sell it for MORE THAN TWICE what we were given for our car. It does not feel good or leave a good taste in your mouth. We felt like our business mattered to them only until we made the decision to buy a car from Morrie’s 394 and after that, they did not care how we treated. We will definitely go to a different dealership to buy our next car. More
