Our first experience with the service department at Morrie's 394 Hyundai left us with a bad taste in our mouth. Despite purchasing our Santa Fe from here, we will probably have it serviced elsewhere. Morrie's 394 Hyundai left us with a bad taste in our mouth. Despite purchasing our Santa Fe from here, we will probably have it serviced elsewhere. We originally made an appointment for July 6th at 11:00 AM and confirmed the date with the service operator (also confirmed the date and time with my partner as she would be bringing the vehicle in for service.). Upon arrival the person at the service counter informed us the appointment was actually for July 13th and at 1:00 PM. No apologies for the confusion or error. No attempt to squeeze us in. No empathy. Since July 13th at 1:00PM did not work with either of our schedules, the appointment was canceled and rebooked for July 19th. Upon arrival, the first issue we ran into was a lack of accessibility. The service area is not wheel chair accessible. We had go around the building and enter through a door on to the sales floor. A sales person did hold the door open for us, however, in an attempt to engage in conversation the sales person made a somewhat insensitive remark that showed that they were not listening nor were they emphatic with our situation or the lack of accessibility. At the service counter the service rep was condescending and terse. When he asked why we brought it in and that we would wait while the vehicle was serviced he rolled his eyes and proclaimed that we had made the wrong type of appointment. He stated that it would take 3-4 hours to service the vehicle and that they could not service the vehicle in the time allotted to our appointment. He said that the service technicians would give the vehicle a quick look but we would need to bring the vehicle back to have all of our issues addressed. As fas as the quick look was concerned, all the technicians did was disable beeps and warnings. No systems were reset or fixed. No repairs made. All that happens is now the Santa Fe will not tell us something isn't working. Needless to say we will be going back to the service department at Morrie's 394 Hyundai. (Actually, if we could return our 2020 Santa Fe, we would.) More
The entire staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. We had a tight timeline as to when we needed to get the car and they worked so we were able to get it before we left town. Had great experience. Went for regular servicing and process was smooth. Though wiper switch was not available that day but they ensured that once it’s in stock, I will get a call. I brought my vehicle in to get a optional hitch installed and also to get my wheels replaced due to peeling paint on the rims. Everything was easy from the start. No pushback on the warranty and ordering my and also to get my wheels replaced due to peeling paint on the rims. Everything was easy from the start. The dealership is great! My concern is getting my navigation fixed. I'm stil waiting for a new system. When I go to the dealership, people are friendly and will get you in and out rather quickly. I'm just disappointed my navigation system went out five times and all I have is a radio. I can't make or receive calls and using the GPS is out of the question. Going on three weeks now.
