I understand that the trade-in value we provided did not meet your expectations. I want to clarify that online tools like Kelly Blue Book provide estimates based on general vehicle information provided by the customer, and the actual trade-in value can vary due to several factors, including the vehicle's condition and history. In your case, the accident history and previous airbag deployment significantly impact the vehicle's value, which is something that may not be accurately reflected in online estimates. We aim to be transparent about these factors and explained to you that an in-person appraisal is essential for an accurate assessment whether they may be better or worse than KBB’s estimates. You had made comments to our staff about “not believing in car inspections” and your vehicle was not inspected. In cases like yours, where there's a history of an accident and airbag deployment, a detailed inspection becomes even more critical. While we regret any inconvenience, these complexities involved in trade-in appraisals (especially those of a vehicle that has been in an accident) are the standard across many stores. You literally knew about the accident before I came down. I have texts to prove it. My inspection just expired 12/23. All moot points considering the review was about your dealership lying about attempting to come up on the trade value. Have texts to prove that as well. Instead you guys wasted my time to throw a lowball offer, gotta double your money every vehicle you sell, cause you sell so few. If the sales manager wasn't so greedy and hunting for his next bonus you guys wouldn’t be watching other dealerships sell the same used car 3-4 times before you guys sell it once. The service reviews and how long desirable used cars sit on this dealers lot speak for themselves. Save your time, money and frustration and don’t waste your time at this shoddy dealership. This genius of a used car sales manager refused a offer of $27K on a car 2 weeks ago yet now dropped the price to $26K. Literally all he does is cost VW and Morong business. Guy is about as sharp as a marble.
