I have taken my truck to West Plains Morlan Shell Ford for the last year on three different occasions for a supposed failed vacuum pump that thank goodness was covered by my extended warranty in the begin for the last year on three different occasions for a supposed failed vacuum pump that thank goodness was covered by my extended warranty in the beginning. Fast forward to now on my FOURTH visit for the same failed vacuum pump and a different tech happens to walk by and says that doesn’t look like a vacuum pump, it looks like a valve cover. So this whole time it’s been a valve cover and not the pump. (By their own admission.) But now my extended warranty is out and Morlan Shell Ford says , nope, it’s not our problem we aren’t going to cover this even though they admit they drop the ball. More

Internet purchase. If this wasn't their first internet sale, it should be their last. You'd think a dealership could handle their paperwork correctly. Dealership represented vehicle as One-owne internet sale, it should be their last. You'd think a dealership could handle their paperwork correctly. Dealership represented vehicle as One-owner and provided a CarFax saying so when they knew the vehicle had been retitled. On the positive side, the vehicle was almost pristine, although they couldn't provide a checklist of inspection or servicing. Overall, nice folks if you aren't worried about performance. More

Ford won't replace part because dealer didn't follow protocol (part would go out again unless another part was replaced too). Another local dealer fixed & repaired properly. Morlan Ford refuses to issue refund of $ 1300, even after admitting their wrong & stating they would refund!! John Woodworth, shame on you.. Customer # 22674. More
Dear General Manager, Last week my wife and I had the Dear General Manager,
Last week my wife and I had the privaledge of seeing first hand that true, personal customer service is not just a thing Dear General Manager,
Last week my wife and I had the privaledge of seeing first hand that true, personal customer service is not just a thing of the past. We were on vacation in your area canoeing the White River by Twin Bridges when we experienced a starting problem with our 02 Explorer. I was able to start the vehicle by shorting across the solenoid and we drove to West Plains to seek assistance with the repairs. It was after your regular business hours, but we drove by to familiarize ourselves with your business and the town. as we drove by I spotted a couple gentlemen, (Art, one of your mechanics, and a body shop man, of whom I didn't get a name) who happened to be there. I visited with them, Art was sypathetic to our little crisis, being on vacation and all, and asked us to come by in the morning when you reopened and he would see that we could get worked in ASAP. We returned the next day and I was greeted by Raymond Blake. I explained our problem, and although he already had a day's worth of work scheduled in front of him he worked us in. It doesn't stop here, this is where he went above and beyond! I mentioned we would like to go get some breakfast while we waited and asked where the nearest place would be to do that. he mentioned Shoney's. I asked how far that was, he said approximately a mile. I looked at the wife and said "We can walk a mile can't we, you were wanting to hike while we were on vacation anyway". This is where Raymond stepped up to the plate. He offered his truck for us to use to go to Shoney's!! This was the nicest gesture I have ever experienced from this type of situation. We went to breakfast, stopped for doughnuts for the crew in the shop and to our amazement again our truck was setting outside repaired and ready for us! I can't begin to express the gratitude for not only the professional and courteous manner of your staff, but the true hometown caring I received. All involved were truly there to help ease our burden of being from out of town and having car problems. Thanks again, please give the guys in your shop a pat on the back and a high five for their input to helping us out! You have a Service Department to be rivaled by all Dealerships! Sincerely, Bob McClaskey, Raymore, MO More
