Corvette Purchase I contacted Jim Browne Chevrolet via email at 0430 in the morning, I wanted to buy a corvette and they were one of the three dealers I was looking at I contacted Jim Browne Chevrolet via email at 0430 in the morning, I wanted to buy a corvette and they were one of the three dealers I was looking at for my purchase. I received an email response back from Leo my salesperson before they even opened and a call from sales manager Noah shortly afterwards. I told the Noah I was going to buy a corvette today and needed his best price on the specific corvette I wanted. Noah said he would call me back in 10 minutes and eight minutes later he called back and offered me a price I couldn't refuse, I asked for an offer sheet. Within 30 minutes I had signed the offer and bought the car. Upon my arrival at the dealer to pick up the car, Leo the salesman met me and spent as much time as I needed to go over the functions and layout of the car, paired my phone, went over the On-Star and Chevrolet Apps and we set up my logins. Additionally, Leo went out of his way to make my purchase complete. Dealer was a little busy, so the General Manager stepped up and processed the purchase and tag paperwork to keep the process as short as possible. Overall, a great experience. More

We were extremely impressed with the vehicle and the care with which the dealership took to upgrade features such as new tires, brakes,ac, etc. We were also very impressed with not only the professionalism, but the humanness of Mr. Ferris and all of the other people we dealt with, including Craig in Financial, Despite the fact that we live in Bradenton, I will certainly drive to Tampa to have my vehicle serviced at this dealership. Probably the best car buying experience we have ever had (and we purchased many since the 60's)! More
A real Chevy Dealer? First let me say, I wanted a 2016 Traverse LTZ Summit White. I first stopped at Stingray Chevy, didn't have one in stock, so I checked web and found o First let me say, I wanted a 2016 Traverse LTZ Summit White. I first stopped at Stingray Chevy, didn't have one in stock, so I checked web and found one at Jim Brown Chevy Tampa. After I got there I found out that they did not have one but could have one is stock the next day. Started working on the paper work and was quoted $8400 for my 2012 , informed the sales mgr that Stingray valued my old Traverse at $9500 and was told that he would meet that price. I must believe that because of our ages the sale mgr thought that we could not read or were not too bright, as the paper work stayed at the $8400. My wife wanted to leave, BUT I wanted this car,and it was the only one that I found. Picked up the car the next morning . Several days later the car stopped running, was able to have AAA drop it at my house. Called to T Cash and let him know of my problem, was informed that he would take care of it for me. a short time later received a call From General Manager? stating that the service manager would call me back in 1/2 hour. Waited all day for call and then 1/2 of the next day, still no call from service manager. The second day afternoon got a call from the sale person (T Cash), he was surprised that no one had called and he would find out what was going on. I then received a call from the service mgr. not much help. Called another chevy dealer and they had the car picked up in less then 1/2 hour, Battery was no good and needed to be replaced ,was also informed that one tire was out of round and it was replaced . There is still a front end shimmy, but will take it back to them, per there request. So must for the $700.75 spent for the dealer predelivery service charge. I really feel bad about the one star, but that was only for the 2 Cash employees. With them out of the picture, it would have been a NO STAR. By the way, the next week, I purchased a Ford Mustang at Brandon Ford Tampa, What a difference , FLASH, just received a card from Brad Meredith, what a slap in the face! "We're here for you" you have got to be kidding. I have owned GM products since 1960, but based on this experience it will be the last. To my surprise, they were have 20% off list prices. So, John King helped me figure out which model and color I wanted to buy, and the sales and finance managers worked with me to get the monthly loan payment I was comfortable with. They even introduced me to the service department techs. It was a great experience all around! More
