We were able to negotiate a price without feeling as though I was being taken advantage of, and there was a line of professionalism which I appreciated as Larisa was not allowed to know any personal finance information of mine. Prior to walking into Morehead I was very nervous as I haven't purchased a new vehicle before, and wasn't sure what to expect. Doug Matthews immediately calmed my nerves. Not only was he full of knowledge, he also made my experience fun. He didn't act just as a "salesperson" but more like a friend. Doug took plenty of time to discuss every option available and listened to all my silly questions. He didn't try to rush me or just try to make a sale. The day I went to pick up my Civic Morehead Honda was PACKED, but I still received the same attention and time as when I came in previously "Just looking". I must admit, I thought going to buy a car would be a big hassle and a stressful experience, but Doug Matthews didn't leave room for an ounce of stress. The CR-V I purchased was in such great shape...exactly what I was hoping for when I drove about 75 miles from where I live....worth the drive. Larisa was very knowledgeable regarding the features of the vehicle. She also made the paperwork a breeze and is very thorough in terms of making sure everything is complete. But most of all she is such a genuine, fun, caring person that you feel like you've known her for years, and because of that she listens to your car buying needs and helps you find what you're looking for, all while making you feel very relaxed. And the rest of the team at Morehead seems to echo that same attitude...friendly, sincere, relaxed. You definitely don't get that bad vibe when you walk in the door that some dealers have.
