Wonderful Experience with Doug Matthews and Morehead Honda! Doug Matthews is a breath of fresh air in all things related to the car buying/leasing process. After 24 years of owning Toyota's, I did my research Doug Matthews is a breath of fresh air in all things related to the car buying/leasing process. After 24 years of owning Toyota's, I did my research and decided on leasing a new 2015 Honda CRV because of the great reviews it had received. My stress level started to build just thinking about where to start my search for a reputable dealership and sales consultant. I began to ask friends and co-workers for recommendations, and Doug's name came up twice the first day! I set up an appointment at Morehead Honda and met with Doug a few days later, and I can honestly say that it was the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership. I was new to the Honda brand.....and new to leasing. Doug was so friendly, and answered all of my questions with kindness and patience. He was knowledgeable and assuring, and was able to turn a normally stressful situation into a very pleasant one. Most of all, he worked so hard on my behalf to get me a fair price for my trade-in, as well as get me into the exact car that I wanted, at a price I could afford. He kept me informed every step of the leasing process, and shared in my joy the day I picked up my new car. He spent time sitting in the car with me going over all of the many features, and wanted me to feel comfortable and confident before I drove it home. It was really great to feel so well cared for. I grabbed a handful of Doug's business cards on my way out the door, and will hand them out to family, friends and co-workers. The customer service I received at Morehead Honda was exceptional. The finance manager Mike Desantis was awesome, and we shared a few laughs while I signed my paperwork. Again, no stress...thanks, Mike! Finally, as I left the building to get into my new car, a few of the sales staff gave shouts of "congratulations!" and I knew that my search for a new dealership was over. Morehead Honda feels like home. Doug, thank you for all of your help and hard work. You are an extremely valuable asset to Morehead Honda! More

Just Awful To say this place is awful is an understatement. No one picks up the phone, no one gets back To you when they say they will, and no one listens to what the customer wants In a car. We wanted an SUV and had a sedan pushed in our face. Felt very pressured to make a sale. They unfairly valued our trade in. They lied and said they contacted our current bank loaner, when the bank had no record of anything and actually approved us at another dealership 2 days later. Just awful business practices. The salesman didn't listen to a word we said. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership and I wouldn't advise my worst enemy to even consider getting a car from morehead Honda! More
