I have been working with Cory for over a year on my 2012 Subaru STI. Cory was very patient and never pushy with the sale. I was able to test drive two different cars and received top dollar for my trade. The transaction was simple and painless. I could not be happier with my new car or my salesman. I ventured to Pence Subaru and was greeted by a young man that did not know very much about the product or the accessories I would be adding. Cory shared my enthusiasm for an awesome car and an awesome brand. I look forward to seeing the sales staff at Subaru of Richmond more when I return for service. I would recommend Cory's "Sales Style" to anyone seeking a new Subaru in the Virginia Area. He is a credit to a new line of younger, relaxed sales people that do not have to play games to make a sale. More
I had a great experience at Moore Subaru. Robert Thomas, the internet sales manager, worked with me to get the exact WRX I wanted on order. He followed up with me on every step of the process. Tom Carr finished the deal and worked with me on the delivery day. Tom was also very helpful and great to deal with. Thanks for a great experience! More
Took my vehicle (2010 Subaru Legacy) to be serviced for a few reasons: tire pressure light sensor was bad, weird braking noises and a vibration on acceleration that surely did not feel normal. My car was at few reasons: tire pressure light sensor was bad, weird braking noises and a vibration on acceleration that surely did not feel normal. My car was at Subaru for less than 8 hours and they deemed the braking noise and vibration "normal." Still concerned, we asked to speak with the service advisor but he had left for the day. We got in contact with him the next day and were there 2 days later to look deeper into the problem with the car. A tech drove the car with us and we felt a vibration and he still said it was normal. We asked the advisor if we could drive a new OR used Legacy with CVT transmission to see if it did the same thing. The service manager said that it would be useless because "our car has miles and it won't drive the same." At first the service manager was decent...however after questioning him, he stated that we don't trust them, and, if that is the case, then find somewhere else to take our vehicle. We were so put off my how rude he was. The service advisor and tech were polite and did everything they could. The service manager however....not so much. I will never take my Subaru to this service center ever again. Pence Subaru has treated us so much better..the only reason we went to Subaru of Richmond was because it was closer to our home! Not again!!! More
Bought a new Outback from Subaru of Richmond in July. I was told i had oil changes for life at 3000 mile intervals for non synthetic and 10000 miles for synthetic. took my car in at just over 10000 miles, was told i had oil changes for life at 3000 mile intervals for non synthetic and 10000 miles for synthetic. took my car in at just over 10000 miles, told Donnie the service tech that I was here for my free 10000 mile synthetic oil service. He was not friendly and seemed bothered by my service request. i waited an hour for a simple oil change then when i went to get my car the mechanic that. did the oil change walked by and i asked him what brand of synthetic oil they used. he said he did not put synthetic in because the service ticket did not say that. we werenext to the service desk so i asked Donnie why the ticket did not have synthetic oil requested and in a crappy unprofessional tone told me synthetic was extra. i told him about the oil changes for life and how i was told imwould get a free synthetic oil change every 10000 miles. he said that was wrong and sorry he could not do anything about it. not only was he awfl but he never put synthetic on my ticket after i told him that is what i wanted, AND if i had not asked the mechanic I know Donnie would never have told me he put on synthetic in. i was ticket off so I went up and talked to the sales mgr in the showroom and he was equally awful. explining that he was ot sure why the salesperson told me that and i should talk to to the servive mgr. He sure was a lot nicer 3 months ago when I gave him 28k. bottom line, dealership sucks, and I like my Subaru Outback less and less every day. Slow and the CVT transmission is awfl. I can't wait to trade it in on a Honda. More
