Best experience ever in buying a car I have bought several new cars in my lifetime. This was the third new Subaru we have purchased. Since we ordered a car from the factory with the options we wanted, Tom kept in contact with us over the 6 weeks for the car to arrive. He made the pickup very easy in advising the finance manager (where we paid our money) that we didn't want to buy any extras. This was the best new car buying experience I've ever had. More
Service Writer and GM despicable and cheats I sent my son with a list to the dealership for 3 things, Synthetic Oil Change, Spark plug change and Transmission flush. When he left 8 hours later t I sent my son with a list to the dealership for 3 things, Synthetic Oil Change, Spark plug change and Transmission flush. When he left 8 hours later the oil was changed with conventional oil, the plugs were changed and they did not flush the transmission. The dealership did however do a 90,000 mile service, change valve cover gasket that was supposedly leaking and 2 CV joint boots they say had little tear in both with a total of $1,550. The service writer Gary Wilcox took full advantage of my son by selling him on services that were not urgent or safety related issues and did not complete what he was sent there to have done. This dealership will cheat you without batting an eye. No one answers their phone when you call including the general manager forcing you to leave a voice mail and hope for a return call. I waited for a full day before the service writer called back and 3 days before the general manager to call back. No resolution from either the service writer or general manager other than “too bad he wasn’t smarter” and less vulnerable to being cheated. I was told by the general manager that I should have called ahead and let them know if I was sending a person in that was not capable of making decisions on authorizing services. This is how this dealership try’s to justify cheating their customers and upselling the services. Stay as far away from this dealership as you can and find a reputable dealership for your sales and service. More

As this was my first car buying experience, I expected it to be stressful and intimidating but the great folks at Subaru of Richmond made it easy peasy. Chris was way more interested in me getting exactly what I wanted and needed and not with making a sale. He wasn't pushy at all. I could have gone to another dealership but chose to stick with Chris. And I love my new Subaru! More

We had several colors we wanted with options identified prior to arrival. We explained to Dan our desires and he showed us vehicles that matched our ideas. As we progressed through the process we made changes to options and color. Dan stayed right with us and showed us all the options and how they performed. This hands on approach and excellent tutorials on functions and practical application made the selling and buying process one of the best if not the best out of my 30 plus vehicle purchased, world wide. We would recommend Dan MacNeil to anyone interested in purchasing a Subaru. He made the process a extremely good memorial event. Go see Dan. More

A couple of days after we purchased, he stopped by the house after work to drop off something that went with the car. The rest of the finance and title process was as quick and painless as the sales process. I recommend Subaru of Richmond and Harry Moseley to anyone looking for a Subaru. If you have never considered a Subaru you should. More
