Listen, I LOATHE going to the car dealership HOWEVER, Evan Robin made my visit SO enjoyable! Usually it's a half a day process (4hrs) but with a well seasoned Finance Manager such as Evan, the process wa Evan Robin made my visit SO enjoyable! Usually it's a half a day process (4hrs) but with a well seasoned Finance Manager such as Evan, the process was quick and painless as he knows his stuff. I never felt pressured or hounded and he was courtious and well mannered. He even offered my a beverage while waiting. You can tell when a the employee really knows his business/profession and with Evan he really knows the car business and financing. You can really tell the guy was born in the Motor City and has cars in his blood. He and Dave Lutke (another professional) are a GREAT team and work very well together at getting the job done (in this case the sale). I am VERY pleased with my Jeep product and have already recommended both Evan and Dave to my fellow colleagues (nurses). Happy new year K. Stribrny More
I came in with my wife to look at Jeep Grand Cherokees. I was impressed by the inventory on the lot, as well as the friendliness of the sales staff. We were approached by David, a charismatic man who made I was impressed by the inventory on the lot, as well as the friendliness of the sales staff. We were approached by David, a charismatic man who made us feel like guests, not customers. We were a bit hesitant to start to actually commit to work with someone, as there is such a stigma of what a car salesman is: rude, push, indignant..but we didn't sense that. We took it to the next level by describing what we were looking for, as he mentally made a note of our wants, desires and pricing level. He pulled up the first contender - a beautiful late-model gold Jeep Grand Cherokee that was great! We took it for a test drive and loved the way it drove, but decided we wanted a black color, with the addition of a sun roof. Back at the dealership, while we waited for him to pull around our choice, he offered us beverages and a seat. At this point, we not only loved the dealership, but were completely set on buying a car that day! Around the bend comes a beautiful, clean, powerful Grand Cherokee...just as we pictured! We got in, took it for a drive, and were instantly hooked. It not only had everything we wanted, but was immaculent, smelled new, and was priced just right. After we decided to make this little bit of heaven ours, David introduced us to a welcoming man named Evan. He came out to see what we were so excited about - it seemed he cared about us from the start. We couldn't help it -- our excitement was contagious, and he seemed genuinely happy for us. In his office, he sat us down, was personable and friendly, and even spoke to us about our lives. It just so happens we are from the same area in Chicago (we figured this is why we had such great comroderie), and even knew some of the same people. What a day! It only got better from here. He explained the contract, price of the vehicle, and even showed us options regarding protection (ie warranty and insurance). While he was thorough and explained everything, we didn't feel talked down to or cooerced - merely informed. It seemed as if he was wanting what was best for US, not just for the dealership. We felt the pricing was fair and not exorbitant, and decided to purchase the warranty with our used SUV. It made perfect sense to protect not only our car, but ourselves. No matter what brand of car you buy, noone can predict a potential problem, and we felt this was the best way to head off any unwanted costs in the future. Overall, we left happy and couldn't think of one bad thing to say about Moore Chrysler. Everyone works and communicates well there, and we felt as if we were part of the process, not a number or just another ticker on the wall of sales. Bravo, Moore Chrysler!! Keep up the good work. We'll be back for all of our vehicle and service needs, and will absolutely reccommend you to all of our friends and family. More
Overall the dealership was well presented. Originally planned to lease a vehicle but the leasing options are pretty much non existent right now. Everyone was friendly and the process went as quickly as p planned to lease a vehicle but the leasing options are pretty much non existent right now. Everyone was friendly and the process went as quickly as possible in my opinion. Sales rep did a good job presenting and delivering the vehicle. More
Went in and they started to play head games with me. What i meant was they played this back and forth game as if they did me a favor. Second once i had enough, i politely thanked them and said i was in What i meant was they played this back and forth game as if they did me a favor. Second once i had enough, i politely thanked them and said i was in no hurry. Finally the owner came out and said he would do the deal as i had originally asked. Once i agreed they filled out a contract that was for 2 grand more. I asked about it and noticed a down payment on the contract as well. He said the down payment (that i never agreed to was to balance the amount i needed). So in recap the car was 14,000 but 16000 on the contract with a down payment and discounts that dropped it to 14,000. The alarm was not working and i brought it in for repairs. It took over a month to get the device completed. I offered to pay for the device but they said it was the least they could do for the wait. Long story short they were looking for the down payment now. Remember i never agreed to it but they threatened me and said i clearly signed for it so i had no choice once i was bullied into it. More
I would not recommend this dealership at all. I had an alarm activated on the Jeep I bought, at no time was I told it would cost $800, just that it would lower my finance rate. Its dealerships like this t alarm activated on the Jeep I bought, at no time was I told it would cost $800, just that it would lower my finance rate. Its dealerships like this that makes me smile when I hear the news about car makers failing and going out of business. More
My wife and I purchased the vehicle on 5/23/08. At the time of purchase we noticed that a tire was low on air. We pointed it out to the rep, Suzie Sarkis, and she said they would check it. They took the c time of purchase we noticed that a tire was low on air. We pointed it out to the rep, Suzie Sarkis, and she said they would check it. They took the car and brought it back with a full tire and told us the problem had been taken care of. A few weeks later the same tire was again visibly low. My wife expressed concern about maybe having a bad tire, but since they had fixed the tire we decided to give it a chance and try adding air. The next six weeks we tried this twice more. We discussed that it could be a safety issue and decided to have it checked out. My wife went to a nearby Discount Tire where they told her the tire had a split seam and was not safe. Before deciding what to do my wife called Moore and talked to a rep named Luke. Luke told her that he couldn’t get any answers right now and would get back to her. She told Luke that she couldn’t drive on the tire and would have to get it fixed. After getting the tire fixed we followed up with Luke about the $114.60 it cost to replace the tire. First he told us that they couldn’t help us because we hadn’t given them the opportunity to fix it. I explained that it was a 125 miles round trip on an unsafe tire, and that my wife HAD tried to get guidance from them before going ahead with the repair. He said that we should have driven to Moore on the mini-donut spare. I told him it was silly and he then suggested we split the cost of the tire and he would give us half the cost in store credit for services - a four hour roundtrip for us. It told him that this was still not acceptable and he said they would pay $60 of the cost of the tire if I would send him an email saying that we were willing to “settle” for that amount. I told him they sold us a car with a bad tire, had a chance to repair it before we left, had a chance to advise us on the phone before the repair was done, and that they needed to cover the full cost. They refused. And all of this was just what lead to the final realization that they were a shady dealer. We should have known when they raised the price on us after having confirmed it on the phone and claimed the price we had discussed on the phone and seen online was an advertising error. But it was still a decent price and we had driven the two hours for the car so we made the deal anyway. If I could, I'd return the car now and pay more somewhere else just to deal with people I could rely on to be honest and stand behind their product. More
I bought a new PT Cruiser At Moore Jeep and Chrysler At 8600 W Bell Jan '06 and had an accident (someone hitcrashed into me while drunk) and I took it to Moore Collision center. They were very good at ge 8600 W Bell Jan '06 and had an accident (someone hitcrashed into me while drunk) and I took it to Moore Collision center. They were very good at getting the work done on time, in excellent condition and in a good professional manner. I do not recommend this dealership at all. My car was at Moore Collision and since the bodyshop and dealership have the same owner, they ressured me that this would be a smooth and easy transaction. Once t Moore Collision and since the bodyshop and dealership have the same owner, they ressured me that this would be a smooth and easy transaction. Once the insurance company gave them the ok to repair or total out my wrecked car that would determine the contract to be a trade in or full purchase. The original contract was written as a full purchase since the status on the car was still undetermined, but the contract would change as soon as the insurance company made a decision. The car was repaired; the manager and gm never returned my phone calls and the saleperson rarely returned any of my phone calls and if he did there was always the run around; he needed to talk to so and so to figure out how the new contract would be written or getting the information on the value of my car; bottom line they were killing time so the new car would get registered by the state and the deal would be final. Once that occurred they were two faced acting like they would do anything to help me sell my car; take it to their auction, put it out on the lot and even to tell me that a smaller dealership would buy it from me, all lies. Well, they did take it thier auction, were it went in perfect condition, because the whole body was repaired and repainted, not even a scratch on it, and it came back with a cracked windsheild, cigarette lighter missing and the frontend bumper was damaged. They told me that they are not responsible and they can not do anything to help me, and I can claim it on my insurance. Well, now with two car payments, two car insurance rates, all the headaches and phone calls that I have had to make this whole transaction has been a nightmare. I will never recommend this dealership and if I would have known better I would have bought my car somewherelse. More
I have a service contract. When I go in for repairs I don't feel that I'm getting the same service as somebody who is paying full price for repairs. My first visit was awesome but it's gone down hill sen don't feel that I'm getting the same service as somebody who is paying full price for repairs. My first visit was awesome but it's gone down hill sence then. They have changed maint mgrs three times on me. I liked Gary but he no longer works in that dept anymore. They told me I can get a free car wash with the service and only first time was my truck been cleaned. (Other complaints)to many to mention. In my opinion this is NOT five star service dealer, I would rate it a 2.5 in all. The cashier laddy's are awesome and most likely underpaid!! More
