I bought a 2016 Mazda CX9 in October 2022. the sale transaction was smooth and easy. However before leaving the dealership the engine light came on. The vehicle was taken to the maintenance d the sale transaction was smooth and easy. However before leaving the dealership the engine light came on. The vehicle was taken to the maintenance department, came back the light was off, and I was told it was a computer error. The light came back on a few hours later. I called took the vehicle back in and left with the engine light off and remained that way for a some time, but would come on briefly and go off. I took the vehicle back three weeks ago, they cleared the error code and told me to take the car to a Mazda dealership because I have a warranty. I took the car into the dealership 3 days later, but they were unable to do anything because the light was off. I came back on, took it in and was given a long list of things that needed to be fixed, which none are warrantied, and it cost me $1300, which included an oil and filter change, and back brakes repair. There are thing that the dealership was aware of and needed to take care of but choose not to take care of, and I did not feel like I could of trusted them to fix my vehicle properly, so I paid the Mazda dealership . That is my reason for the 1 star. More
