Always great care I won't go anywhere else for my service work on my car. The service staff are wonderful and always make me feel like I'm part of the family. I walk in the door and almost everyone says hello before I have even stepped in the door all the way. Waiting in the showroom waiting area is very nice. They have beverages and snacks for you while you wait. The seating is so welcoming and comfortable. My favorite part is that I know where my car is in the process every step of the way from their large screen that shows all the vehicles in service that are being worked on. You never have to go back and bother anyone to find out how long before your car is going to be done. I enjoy working with all of the staff. More

My wife and I have bought many new and used cars from Ford dealers and none come close to Montrose Ford in Fairlawn. We had been to the dealer that we bought our last couple of cars from and had all our service work done at when we went looking at a new car. I knew the trade in value of our old car and we had a figure of what we wanted out of it. What they offered us was a total joke. Then the discounts on the new demo that we were looking at were not that good. I just happen to stop at Montrose Ford, They are a half hour from my house. I walked in and was greeted by friendly folks. I told them what I was looking for and what I had to trade in. After chatting a few minutes, they came with an offer. My mouth almost hit the ground. They doubled the amount that I was offered for my trade and discounted a new Explorer more than the demo I looked at the dealer I had been with. Again, they DOUBLED the amount of my trade. This amount was right in line with what I expected to get. The discounts on the new Explorer were just amazing. Something my old dealer said couldn't be done. To make a longer story short, the wife and I not only leased her a new Explorer but I wound up buying a used one for myself as well. We went looking for 1 car and came home with 2. For some folks it may be a longer drive to get here. You may pass several Ford dealers like I do to get there. It is a must for you to give these folks a shot at your business. If you want to be treated fair and get a great deal from friendly folks, this is the place. My sales man is David Cowan, the sales manager is Matt Palffy. Tell them what you want and they will make it happen! This IS my new Ford dealer and I am not afraid to recommend them to anyone! . More
Great People, NO Pressure purchasing. Found the car I was looking for online and called to be sure it was still in stock half expecting to be told yes it was to find it had magically just Found the car I was looking for online and called to be sure it was still in stock half expecting to be told yes it was to find it had magically just been sold (Like another dealer did recently). Fortunately, I was wrong! I had spoken with Branson Gainer when I called. When I arrived he was with another customer and he introduced me to Bob McClure, who helped me through the rest of the buying process. The entire staff, Bob and Branson were very pleasant and helpful. There was absolutely NO high pressure to make the purchase nor to sell extras. It is apparent to me that Montrose Ford and its staff work hard to develop a relationship with their customers, not just to "Make the sale". Thank you! Bob, Branson and everyone at Montrose...We'll be back. More

By using an illustration what each had to offer on paper instead of just handing me a catalog went along way. Your assurance that the vehicle I was going to test drive was apples to apples to the one I would be purchasing. Your explanation and knowledge on packaged options was very helpful when trying to get just the right combination of what we wanted. You heard what I said on the color and option selection I was looking for and DID NOT try and sell me on something I had NO interest in. This was a very friendly and yet personable experience, Thank You once again John, we will definitely recommend Montrose Ford and John Fahrner as the go to dealership for you New car purchase. He always goes above and beyond his job duties to make sure that I am happy with my purchase. He took a lot of time to go over everything with me and never rushed me. Bad advertising! I did some research for a certified pre-owned 2013 Ford Taurus Limited. I viewed several websites and selected the car I wanted. The car was located a I did some research for a certified pre-owned 2013 Ford Taurus Limited. I viewed several websites and selected the car I wanted. The car was located at Montrose Ford Fairlawn, in Akron Ohio. I contacted their company and asked if the car was available for a test drive. I explained I lived almost 2 hrs away and I was looking to purchase my next vehicle. Customer service stated the car was available to view, ready to test drive, and suggested I schedule an appointment. I scheduled the appointment and was instructed to meet a particular sales rep when I arrived. When I walked in, I was greeted with a sales rep. I said that I had a scheduled appointment to see a particular person. The sales rep stated the person I requested was the general manager, and he didn't have time to see all of the customers. So he decided he was going to help me and began by asking personal information. I immediately showed him the Carfax report and the description of the car. He ignored me, until I stated I drove 2 hrs to see this exact car and did not have much time to waste. He say okay, requested my license, and then left to get the keys. I was instructed to meet him outside. After 5 minutes, he walked up to me and stated the car was not available, and it must be on a test drive. So, again I explained that I traveled far and had an appointment. I asked when will the car be available to drive. He leaves and then returns stating that the Owner's son is driving the car temporarily. (So, that indicates that someone's son is possibly racking up the mileage in the car which could possibly sustain more wear and tear.) The sales rep tried to pressure me into test driving other cars, and had the nerve to ask about my financing. I completely lost interest and left. NOTE: Please do not settle for what THEY want you to buy! After all, it is you who will be making the payments for something you really don't want. More
