Easy, Honest Car Purchasing Experience Had a great experience purchasing a new Forester at Montgomery Subaru. He emailed me a quote on a car that met what I was looking for which was scheduled to arrive the next month. We scheduled a time for me to come test drive one of the cars on the lot before I committed to a deposit on the car scheduled to arrive. At the dealership, the environment was relaxed and very friendly. Robert explained how the deposit process worked and we did all the paperwork for it. During the wait for the car to arrive, I got approved for financing and Robert updated me frequently on the status and once it arrived, let me know right away. He made sure that it was first through the service department for inspection so that I could pick it up the same day it arrived - awesome! I came in, finalized my insurance, signed all the paperwork and finance documents, was shown all the manuals, and was out the door in just about an hour and a half. The experience exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend and consider returning myself for a new car. More

These are the people you want to work with I found a BRZ on one of the car buying websites at this dealership. At the time, I had interacted with about a dozen dealerships during the course of I found a BRZ on one of the car buying websites at this dealership. At the time, I had interacted with about a dozen dealerships during the course of my car search. Montgomery Subaru was both the most knowledgeable about their products and the easiest to deal with. There were no pressure tactics. There were no attempts to make me look at or buy something that I clearly didn't want (I came into this knowing I wanted to buy a BRZ). Our negotiations over price were fair and free of the silly gamesmanship exhibited by other dealers. My sales rep - Robert (I also recommend him) - kept in touch with me via email, but did not bombard my inbox and blow up my phone asking "when can I put you down for a test drive?" the way some of the other dealerships have. He and the finance manager never tried to rush me into anything. They were courteous, clear and professional throughout the course of our dealings. It was the same with the few other employees that I spoke to in passing. This was the first car I've ever bought and I'm worried that Montgomery Subaru may have spoiled me. It's nice to have only good problems. More

I wanted to make sure that the car was what I was looking for before I made a 15 hour bus trip to Al! Over the course of the next two weeks Rob and I remained in contact and I eventually made the trip down to purchase the car. Car was exactly as advertised and the dealer ship did everything they could to make the transaction as quick as possible so that I could get back on the road to NC. A very pleasant experience.
