Every one of their new vehicles comes wit h an "Appearance Protection Coatings" for which they charge $995. I stated that I did not want this and that it should be optional, but was refused. This immediately added almost $1,000 to the price of the vehicle. Again deceptive. I went ahead with the purchase as I was offered significantly more for my trade-in than what I was offered at Smail Kia in Greensburg. Also, the Document Preparation Fee of $449 seemed excessive. I've had my '16 Soul in twice for recalled issues. The second time, they kept it for over 2 weeks. It was only after I called repeatedly that I got in touch with anyone. I dealt primarily with Jason. He never seemed interested in keeping me informed of what was going on. This was a warranty issue and it was 5 days before I got a loner car. I got a call this morning that the car was done and the rental would not be paid after today. Good thing I was able to make quick arrangements. A professional would have called yesterday to say the part was in and that the car would be ready today. But in order to do that, a person would have to treat the customer as a customer and not like an inconvenience. This whole issue has been disappointing. I should have looked elsewhere. More
