Alvin was a absolute dream come true. My family and I had been to several dealerships in the area narrowing down our choices of vehicles. Drove to the dealership to buy a new Kia, left with a new Mazda 3, completely unplanned... especially since I was adamant about a manual. Inventory was scarce. Took my 2008 Kia Sportage, 4WD, Standard 5 Speed Transmission SUV to the dealership to remedy a shimmy problem while driving. Dealership sold me the injection cleaning service and informed me that Transmission SUV to the dealership to remedy a shimmy problem while driving. Dealership sold me the injection cleaning service and informed me that I needed new brakes and rotors. (I had driven the vehicle less than 1,000 miles since my previous visit to the service. When asked why the brake problem was not addressed during my previous visit in accordance with the advertised "Full Circle" service which states that a brake inspection is included, I was informed that they do not pull wheels. Drove vehicle to Atlanta, Ga. and back experiencing the same' shimmy" while driving. Returned to the dealership and explained that the "shimmy" problem continued despite the previous $800.00+ service. Service manager rode with me and acknowledged the "shimmy" and diagnosed it as a tire problem. Following three separate returns to the tire dealership to check for belt breaks and to have the tires rebalanced and rotated without resolution to the problem, the tire dealership replaced the 6 month old tires with new tires and balanced them. Shimmy problem continued and the tire dealership manager diagnosed problem as "drive line" connected. Vehicle returned to Kia with the information from the tire dealership. Kia service person, Todd, stated that when the car was on the rack and idling in gear, the wheels "wobbled" and therefore it was a tire problem, I may have to seek legal counsel to resolve the promised 100 thousand mile warranty issue as my vehicle is only three years old and has less than 40,000 miles. More
