She was not pushy at all like you expect unfortunately. I told her exactly what I wanted and how little I could afford and she made her magic! I felt like we were family. For once I didn't feel like I was just another sale, I felt like she really just wanted to try to help me with my needs. There was no going back and forth and her magic worked. I got a fantastic deal and am completely satisfied with the total experience which just doesn't happen anymore when buying a vehicle! If you want a great experience ask for Terry Burke! And tell her I sent you! More
Sorry Monroeville Kia. :( Was in the market for a Kia Soul and went to Monroeville Kia. I was greeted by a salesperson (Jacob Raab). I was up front with Mr. Raab about my Was in the market for a Kia Soul and went to Monroeville Kia. I was greeted by a salesperson (Jacob Raab). I was up front with Mr. Raab about my credit situation (not the best score out there) and the fact that I wanted a Kia Soul. I was shown a couple of different models, but not allowed to sit in them or test drive them. Mr. Raab then had me complete a credit application and provide two paystubs to look into financing. I had told him up front that I was not making a purchase that day, that I was looking into options, and that I had a little more than an hour to spend with him. I spent a lot of time sitting at a desk while he talked to someone about financing a vehicle for me. At one point, he asked me if I would consider a vehicle other than a Soul, and he showed me two other vehicles, one of which was a Forte and I'm not sure what the other one was, a hatchback of some sort. I told him I wouldn't be against considering those vehicles but was interested in the Soul. Back to the desk I went, back to talk to financing he went. The next thing I know, he has a plate in hand and wants me to take the Forte for a test drive (and he wasn't able to find the vehicle he wanted me to drive on the lot). I wasn't interested in driving a Forte, and indeed I needed to be home because I had food in the oven that needed tended to. I had explained this to Mr. Raab and took a moment to explain it to him again. I left the dealership with the promise that I would be back -- because originally, that was my intention, was to come back. I arrived home and found that I had a voice mail on my phone from Marie, someone whom I hadn't met or spoke to, indicating that they would love to work with me. This was followed by a phone call from Mr. Raab, indicating that I had forgotten to sign some important legal documents and needed to return to the dealership. I reiterated to him that I could not return to the dealership that evening, that I was holding a birthday party, and that I might be back at a later time. I then texted Mr. Raab to inquire about the cost of the Forte; Mr. Raab didn't tell me what the cost was, but did tell me what he thought my payments would be, so I asked again what the cost was. He told me it was $18,600 -- completely over the price of the Kia Soul. When I asked about that, I was told that the advertised price on the Soul included recent college graduate and military incentives, which he indicated I didn't qualify for (but I was never asked if either of those things would apply to me). The next time I heard from Mr. Raab was on Thursday, when he asked me when my husband would be stopping by. I asked why my husband needed to come in and was told that he could test drive the car and see what he thought, and if we both liked the vehicle and the price then we could make the purchase. I was not aware, and I stated this to Mr. Raab, that my husband needed to approve my vehicle purchase. I told him that I was going to re-evaluate my options and search out another dealership. At some point in the back and forth with Mr. Raab, I had asked him why I wasn't permitted to even test drive the Soul, and he indicated to me that he didn't want me to fall in love with that vehicle and then not be able to afford it. Quite honestly, that's completely ridiculous -- wouldn't you want me to fall in love with that vehicle and then do what I needed to do to get that vehicle in my hands? I went to another dealership (Baierl Kia), explained the experience I had had at Monroeville Kia, and said I would like to not repeat that experience...and I didn't, I am now the proud owner of a 2015 Kia Soul plus an extended warranty, with payments in a range I can afford, I have expressed these same concerns to the general manager of Monroeville Kia. I am hopeful that they will take note of the concerns and address them with their sales team. More

This lady has no experience whatsoever and knew nothing about any of the cars. The only thing she talked about what how much I wanted to spend. No matter how many times I told her I was just looking for a good deal, she continued to ask about money. On top of the terrible saleslady, a couple of the used cars on the lot were dirty inside and they didn't have prices on the windows of any the cars which ever other dealership I went to did. To me this was very shady. More
I brought my 2011 Sorrento in for an oil change and inspection. I made my appointment 2 months in advance and told them at the time that I would wait while they worked on it. I had to wait 4 hours an inspection. I made my appointment 2 months in advance and told them at the time that I would wait while they worked on it. I had to wait 4 hours and ten minutes. When I arrived I was told it would be 3 hours at least if waiting because they “booked too many appointments”. Since I wasn't told this until I arrived, I didn't have much choice, but to wait- I drove myself. Dropping off the car would have required prior notice, which they didn't provide. The employee was apologetic, but offered very little to make the situation better. I asked if someone could take me to the mall and he said no, there wasn’t a shuttle on duty that day. This is a car dealership with hundreds of cars and the Mall is just across the highway and up a hill- so NO ONE could take me?! Not impressed! Luckily one of the salesmen saw me walking over to the Mall and offered to drive me. Four hours for an oil change and inspection is ridiculous. They should have offered me some type of discount for the inconvenience they caused! I guess there aren’t too many businesses around willing to do the right thing! More
Went in for recall and the wife told them that the brakes seems sludges I was out of town. They told her that she needed pins in the Calvert of the brakes told her it would call 1500 dollars she car me and I seems sludges I was out of town. They told her that she needed pins in the Calvert of the brakes told her it would call 1500 dollars she car me and I said I do not have that kind of money so the service person mike said that they can do something less expensive which would cost 600 dollars I had no choice because I was out of town. So she pick me up that night and the brakes lock up the tow truck came out and show us that the bolt came out we had it tow to Kia and the service department said that it was not all their fault because we said it was ok to go less expensive. I told him that they where the person that fix the brake and if it was not they should not have let it go. Plus for brake pads, and new rotor should not have cost 600 dollars. I ask if they would get us a rent and Steve said no he would not do that. They are waiting for a new rim because when the brakes lock it blew the rim. And it has taken a whole week for the rim. And Steve things he is doing to much for us because he is payIng for the repair. Then I ask are you putting on a new Calvert he said no and there is no grantee. I ask how much would this be if put a new one on he said 800 dollars that is why he able to go to 600dollars I said if I find one cheaper would put it on he said go try to fine one. Then an hour later the service person call me and said he found on for 61 dollars but I have to pay for it. We are still driving a renter car it has been 6 days. Steve the service manager does not like to talk to people he said to good for that. He said that is why he has people working for him More
I dropped my car for service and state inspection. I was third person gave the car for service around 7:30 AM . The appointment was scheduled two weeks in advance. They called me around 3;30 Pm and told me third person gave the car for service around 7:30 AM . The appointment was scheduled two weeks in advance. They called me around 3;30 Pm and told me they need the vehicle for 1 more day. When started asking questions and what is wrong they started giving answers related engine light and they need to drive several miles to figure it out. When I reached the service center I realized the vehicle was parked in the same place and the odometer reading was the same and never even touched the vehicle. Broken promises and bad customer service. More
