I was sold a car and had it for less than 48 hours before the engine locked. Vehicle got towed to dealership. I wait the whole next day and never received a call. I call service and was told their waiting fo the engine locked. Vehicle got towed to dealership. I wait the whole next day and never received a call. I call service and was told their waiting for Kia to approve the claim. What claim? What’s wrong with the car? How long is this going to take? Terrible service department!! They don’t ’care at all about customers. Bought the car 8 months ago & have had the same problem since purchasing . Today was the last straw. I brought my car to be service and your advisor Jermey who began to be very impatient and rude because I called everyday to see if I was approved to have my car worked on because I need to be provided wit who began to be very impatient and rude because I called everyday to see if I was approved to have my car worked on because I need to be provided with either a loner or rental for transportation to work. I found out on me own through Kia consumer affair that I was approve because he and his rudeness refuse to check or even look into it for me. His response was “ I didn’t hear anything yet” and when I did tell him I was approve , his response “ well that’s news to me”. He didn’t appreciate me calling to see how things were coming along . When he did call me to tell me my car was ready, he gave me No paperwork that I put my signature on. He claimed a new engine was put in my car and when asked how many miles was on it he changed his statement and said my engine was rebuilt. I believe they did just enough to get my car running. I was given a 1 year warranty and I wasn’t allowed to have copies of the warranty or any papers I signed. When I reached out to the service manager, he didn’t respond back. My car is a mess the engine light came back on, It jerks and makes a clicking noise now. I will not bring it back their due to how I was treated. I will be going to another dealership and reporting this the Kia claims because I am uncomfortable with this vehicle now. I spoke to several Kia owners who engines had to be service and they were given a new engine with a lifetime warranty, hear I have an extended warranty and I was given a so called rebuilt engine with a 1 year warranty and ignorance. And yes your service men and manager will deny every bit of what I’m saying and you probably will too but MONROEVILLE Kia has been given a bad name not just by me but people who had there car serviced there before me and if I had known then what I know now I would have never came there. More
