My wife and I called about a new Wagoneer today and was told it would be sold at MSRP. We asked what it would take to hold it for us to drive from Andrews to Monahans to which we were told $1k. We gave the told it would be sold at MSRP. We asked what it would take to hold it for us to drive from Andrews to Monahans to which we were told $1k. We gave the deposit, drove over there, and then their GM Johnathan Jimenez said if I wanted it we had to pay over $4k above MSRP because they had that offered. Sadly enough, I gave the deposit to buy it and get there but he claimed it was to hold it only not to hold the price. What he doesn’t know is that he told the salesman it was at list price and I heard him say it. His explanation was “it’s business.” They took the deposit via phone and when I asked to return it they said the card had to be present. Finally after some persistence, the money was returned. He’s a real piece of work and I wouldn’t recommend him or the dealer for anything. More
