I always feel like I am his "ONLY" customer because of his regular communication and him going out of his way to accommodate my service needs. I have been going to Momentum for a number of years now, and it is because of Phong's exceptional customer service that I will always be a customer of Momentum. More
Other Houston BMW dealerships service prices are cheaper than momentum. Momentum BMW has always price-matched in the past. Momentum BMW has to be the worst BMW service facility not only in Houston but probably the whole country. In what has turned out to be a nightmare experience, we find it shocking that they can get away wi only in Houston but probably the whole country. In what has turned out to be a nightmare experience, we find it shocking that they can get away with this despite being an insurance-paid claim service. From day 1, we had a bad experience with Momentum. Never once was a written estimate provided to us on WHAT was wrong, HOW long it will take to fix and WHEN can we expect to get our car back. Under Texas law, repair shops do not have to provide written estimates, and these guys absolutely take disadvantage of this and abuse hapless consumers to the hilt. We only took our car here on recommendation of the insurance company. We asked if they had BMW certified mechanics to which both the insurance, and the facility replied yes. But the very moment the car was in their shop, things turned south. Initially took way too long to repair the original tire and rim damage. Then said it could have affected rear axle/rim/strut and that needs to be checked out. This whole thing took 2 weeks. Then they thought it had chassis and body damage, and maybe the frame had shifted. Parts and jigs were ordered from somewhere the car was hoisted up and taken apart and reassembled. But it wouldn't align so off we go again. This time the engine was what was coming in the way. So took it apart all over again. By this time, we are already past 6 weeks without our car. And they claimed they do body and frame damage routinely and follow the exact procedure, YET THEY DON'T KNOW HOW, WHEN AND IN WHAT SEQUENCE ITS ALL PUT TOGETHER AGAIN. THEY GO BY TRIAL AND ERROR!!! It is unbelievable. And thus the reason for not giving estimates, making faulty claims and not honoring their own word again and again. We thought such experiences only happened to "other people" - WRONG. When it comes to repairing your high-end import, be very careful and check references before taking it in. The lost time, the aggravation, the lies, the bogus estimates and whole rigmarole are just not worth it. Get a second opinion on repairs, make sure you let them know you will take your car elsewhere if they fail to deliver in a reasonable amount of time, and ACT ON IT. Let insurance know that you WILL complain to BBB, Texas DMV, Texas Attorney General and other consumer protection agencies. It takes just one bad dealership to muck the name of a great car company, and these guys simply take it for granted. You will NOT have such a bad experience at your average Honda, Ford, or Toyota dealership, and THAT IS A GUARANTEE. More
Servicing a $100k 750LI should be a painless exercise. DO NOT count on that from Momentum BMW South. Mine had a simple problem with remote on the key. I was told the car needed an alignment which cost $450. NOT count on that from Momentum BMW South. Mine had a simple problem with remote on the key. I was told the car needed an alignment which cost $450. I just had an alignment 6 mos ago. When I questioned the service representative, he said that is right and he should have checked the records - Shouldn't that go without saying? When I went to pick up the car (after being told it was ready to go) it came out and was absolutely filthy! So back to be cleaned and got it an hour early. I just don't understand how these guys can't get it right. I am absolutely sure that their customers aren't bumbling idiots - so why do they treat us like that! I bought the car in there 2008 and have had it serviced 3 times. All 3 times had serious issues. They are deceitful, carless and very unprofessional. DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED THERE! More
If I could give it ZERO stars I would. I recently bought a car from here and it has not been a good experience. The sales process was too lengthy and I never received a couple things I was assured were alre a car from here and it has not been a good experience. The sales process was too lengthy and I never received a couple things I was assured were already shipped out. Less than 2 months after the purchase I had brake issues. The first time I brought it in, they said they fixed the problem but surprisingly they were still squeaking later that day. The second time I brought my car in, they finally replaced the back brakes. BEWARE!!!!! I had my Ipod stolen from this dealership. They make you sign a waiver when you drop your car off stating they are not responsible for items removed from your car. I accidentally left my iPod in the center compartment where it has the USB connection. I called my tech and he called me back a couple days later and said "they have been having some issues with items going missing but have not located the employees involved". He made sure to remind that I was still responsible for the missing item. Thanks a lot, I just spent 40K with you jerks and your going to lose me as a customer over a $80 iPod???? Stay away from both sides of this dealership, they suck and have ruined my previous stellar 5 year experience with BMW. More
Very pathetic customer relations. You can buy the car but afterward their attitude totally changes. If you ever have to take your car in for any repair or service, be prepared for the most unprofessional gro afterward their attitude totally changes. If you ever have to take your car in for any repair or service, be prepared for the most unprofessional group of people working here. Not friendly or courteous at all. In fact can be pretty rude. No one calls you back to give you any update on your car. You have to call several times and leave messages, day after day, to get a reply back. There are always out of loaner cars. Would charge you even if the issue is something different. Never honor appointments. I would not recommend this dealership at all. I own a BMW 650. regards More
I was quoted 18 days to fix my car, it ended up taking about 6 weeks and my car is not in the condition it was before my wreck. You have to continuously call on your vehicle because communication about y about 6 weeks and my car is not in the condition it was before my wreck. You have to continuously call on your vehicle because communication about your vehicle is nearly nonexistant and trying to get your rep to call you back is a joke, (although i'll say he was polite when i could get a hold of him). My car ran perfectly before the wreck, i took it here (not sure why, because I've had a bad experience here before) to be fixed and when i went back to pick it up the first time (of 3) there were new door dents from the careless staff supposedly fixing my car. The paint job was mediocre at best, and the dash vibrated in neutral, this has NEVER happened before the wreck, but it wasn't covered by the insurance???? Take my multiple bad experiences at this body shop as a warning, in my opinion DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE TO BE FIXED, you will waste your time and money. More
If you want to get bluffed or looted this is the best place to go.This is the worst BMW dealership where I had ever been to in my life. I went to service my car, they charged nearly $3000 for replacing t place to go.This is the worst BMW dealership where I had ever been to in my life. I went to service my car, they charged nearly $3000 for replacing the fuel pump. After replacing they promised that the car is "very well fit" for a long drive. But as soon as I reached my home after the service the gasoline was leaking from the car, the whole house started smelling. By risking my life I drove the car back to the dealer because this problem was due to their improper careless service. I kept the car there and left home in order to save the lives of my family and my neighborhood. On the next day the dealer gave me a call stating that it was their mistake and will do the compensation. I met the service manager to get the compensation for their mistake, he wanted to give a very big compensation. The compensation offered by the manager for risking mine and my families life was a "full tank of gas" What a shame??? Unbelievable. They did the service on the second day, the gasoline leak was stopped. But when I reached home from dealer I could hear a lot of noise from my car's engine. Took it back to the dealer because my car was very silent when I gave to them, now they diagnosed it and found the noise was not because of their fault, some stuffs must be changed and they charged me $1000 for doing the service. I don't know what these people are up to especially the manager who has such a bad attitude, he told me that he cannot give his customers 100% satisfaction because of their technician's "HUMAN ERROR". If this is the case then " what is the meaning of paying huge sum of money for the "service"?" Also did I forget to mention the service manager MR. ANDREW was such a racist too who was looking very down to us!!!!!! These people are very unreliable, not customer friendly, untrustworthy, unauthentic and all time cheaters. Just stay away from these guys, go to some local mechanic to get a 100000000000000 times better service at a reasonable cost who doesn't loot you like these bad people!!!! JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER AND SAVE YOUR LIFE AND MONEY!!!! More
I have had service work done on a 1996 BMW 318ti three times at Momentum stores - twice at the Katy Freeway location and once at the Southwest Freeway location. For one automatic window motor replacement times at Momentum stores - twice at the Katy Freeway location and once at the Southwest Freeway location. For one automatic window motor replacement at the Southwest Freeway location, I had to take my car back in to get it fixed properly - luckily at no additional expense. The staff was generally nice, but I feel the work is pretty shoddy for the premium price you have to pay. I have been happily using an independent repair shop since then and feel I am getting better service for less out of pocket. More
