Very pathetic customer relations. You can buy the car but afterward their attitude totally changes. If you ever have to take your car in for any repair or service, be prepared for the most unprofessional gro afterward their attitude totally changes. If you ever have to take your car in for any repair or service, be prepared for the most unprofessional group of people working here. Not friendly or courteous at all. In fact can be pretty rude. No one calls you back to give you any update on your car. You have to call several times and leave messages, day after day, to get a reply back. There are always out of loaner cars. Would charge you even if the issue is something different. Never honor appointments. I would not recommend this dealership at all. I own a BMW 650. regards More
I was quoted 18 days to fix my car, it ended up taking about 6 weeks and my car is not in the condition it was before my wreck. You have to continuously call on your vehicle because communication about y about 6 weeks and my car is not in the condition it was before my wreck. You have to continuously call on your vehicle because communication about your vehicle is nearly nonexistant and trying to get your rep to call you back is a joke, (although i'll say he was polite when i could get a hold of him). My car ran perfectly before the wreck, i took it here (not sure why, because I've had a bad experience here before) to be fixed and when i went back to pick it up the first time (of 3) there were new door dents from the careless staff supposedly fixing my car. The paint job was mediocre at best, and the dash vibrated in neutral, this has NEVER happened before the wreck, but it wasn't covered by the insurance???? Take my multiple bad experiences at this body shop as a warning, in my opinion DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE TO BE FIXED, you will waste your time and money. More
If you want to get bluffed or looted this is the best place to go.This is the worst BMW dealership where I had ever been to in my life. I went to service my car, they charged nearly $3000 for replacing t place to go.This is the worst BMW dealership where I had ever been to in my life. I went to service my car, they charged nearly $3000 for replacing the fuel pump. After replacing they promised that the car is "very well fit" for a long drive. But as soon as I reached my home after the service the gasoline was leaking from the car, the whole house started smelling. By risking my life I drove the car back to the dealer because this problem was due to their improper careless service. I kept the car there and left home in order to save the lives of my family and my neighborhood. On the next day the dealer gave me a call stating that it was their mistake and will do the compensation. I met the service manager to get the compensation for their mistake, he wanted to give a very big compensation. The compensation offered by the manager for risking mine and my families life was a "full tank of gas" What a shame??? Unbelievable. They did the service on the second day, the gasoline leak was stopped. But when I reached home from dealer I could hear a lot of noise from my car's engine. Took it back to the dealer because my car was very silent when I gave to them, now they diagnosed it and found the noise was not because of their fault, some stuffs must be changed and they charged me $1000 for doing the service. I don't know what these people are up to especially the manager who has such a bad attitude, he told me that he cannot give his customers 100% satisfaction because of their technician's "HUMAN ERROR". If this is the case then " what is the meaning of paying huge sum of money for the "service"?" Also did I forget to mention the service manager MR. ANDREW was such a racist too who was looking very down to us!!!!!! These people are very unreliable, not customer friendly, untrustworthy, unauthentic and all time cheaters. Just stay away from these guys, go to some local mechanic to get a 100000000000000 times better service at a reasonable cost who doesn't loot you like these bad people!!!! JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER AND SAVE YOUR LIFE AND MONEY!!!! More
I have had service work done on a 1996 BMW 318ti three times at Momentum stores - twice at the Katy Freeway location and once at the Southwest Freeway location. For one automatic window motor replacement times at Momentum stores - twice at the Katy Freeway location and once at the Southwest Freeway location. For one automatic window motor replacement at the Southwest Freeway location, I had to take my car back in to get it fixed properly - luckily at no additional expense. The staff was generally nice, but I feel the work is pretty shoddy for the premium price you have to pay. I have been happily using an independent repair shop since then and feel I am getting better service for less out of pocket. More
I have given in this review since I feel defrauded. I I have given in this review since I feel defrauded. I traded in my 2001 Porsche Boxster S and bought a 2006 M roadster from the Used Department in may 2009. They did not change the title and went ahead and sold it to someone in Washington DC. At the moment I am dealing with Speed tickets from DC which has nothing to do with me.The police department of Washington DC is mailing to me since my name is still on the Title. How could this be? Is this professionalism ? I called the dealership and even went down to them. The response I go is that they could care less and it is my problem to take care of it. I am not going into issue of the Certified M car which when I bought it required a clutch replacement which they replaced grudgingly and it needed a realignment. 7/25/09, I drove to Sewell Lexus Dealership in Dallas to pick up a 2004 Porsche 911 Turbo and to trade in the 2006 M roadster. To my shock, I was told that the M roadster has been involved in a serious accident. They showed me the Carfax report. When i bought the BMW in April / May 2009, MR Maktar the salesman showed me the Carfax report and I saw no evidence of an accident. I called Josh the Finance manager immediately and he was not interested. Here is his organization's reputation at stake and he could care less. Since I bought the M roadster which has been a rather impressive roadster, several of my work colleagues have been interested in procuring a similar car product. I will make sure they know of this experience. I will as a matter of fact never do Business with Momentum BMW West or any of its offshoots again. This will be my first and last BMW in any case More
There are several BMW dealerships in Houston but it doesn't seem to matter which one you go to, service is generally mediocre to bad. Recently, I went to Momentum to have my car serviced and my cell p doesn't seem to matter which one you go to, service is generally mediocre to bad. Recently, I went to Momentum to have my car serviced and my cell phone was stolen. Now I realize that was my fault to leave the phone in there but it was their attitude when I called that I found irritating. I left the cell "hidden" behind some CDs in the driver door compartment because it was compeltely out of charge. I ws going to wait while the car was serviced. When they brought the car around, I noticed immediately it was missing. Complained to the service advisor and he couldn't have cared less. His attitude was that I could pretty much expect to have the phone stollen if I was stupid enough to leave it in the car.Did not want to check with the service manager or the shop. I complained to the salesman I bought the car from. He was apologetic but never heard back from. My point, which Momentum seemed to fail to understand, was that you are telling me that I can not trust your employees with a $300 phone but they are completely trustworthy when it comes to the $1000s of service work they claim to have done. There is no way for me to verify that. Character is character. You can't be a tief in one aspect and the pillar of intergrity in another. Form now on I am sticking with independent shops for service. And certainly not buying my next car from Momentum. More
My bad experience was not actually due to my sales experience but the service department. I found the Finance Manager and the Sales Advisor to be excellent and the sales experience was great. The onl experience but the service department. I found the Finance Manager and the Sales Advisor to be excellent and the sales experience was great. The only drawbacks was that the 2006 BMW M that was claimed to be pre certified as good as new had a clutch problem and needed alignment. I found this out after just paying for the car on 4/6/09 and driving it one to my office downtown. The car was still under manufacturer's warranty (28100 miles), the Service manager Brian Kelly insisted I paid for the alignment even though I was assured by sales that this will not be the case. There was no reasoning with him. Prior to returning the car to the dealership to sort this mechanical issues, I called him several times he never answered nor even responded to my e-mail messages. My service experience was not the greatest and the car will not be going back there. I will use my independent Mechanic Autotech Pro at Hillcroft who did an outstanding work on my 2000 Porsche Boxster S which I traded in. Their parts and labor always competitive and they are very friendly too. I will not even comment on the MP3 auxiliary installation port, where Brian tried to rip me off as well. Thanks to the intervention of the Finance Manager, the original price quoted for parts and labor is what I will pay. I should pick up my car on 4/13/09 and that is the last they will see of me. Sales department did a pretty great job, I gave them 5s in the phone survey, they worked well with me but I will stay away from their service department. More
