First of all, I will say I got a good deal on a 3 series that was sold as a Certified Pre Owned BMW, ha. Well after about 4 months my car overheats, two days after it was out of the shop for routine mainten that was sold as a Certified Pre Owned BMW, ha. Well after about 4 months my car overheats, two days after it was out of the shop for routine maintenance(oil change, steering column fluid, brake fluid, parking brake). So I find the radiator fluid tank is absolutely empty as I am on my way of town. Great. Replace the fluid, drive around for the weekend, and take the car in on Monday to check for any problems. After calling in that afternoon at 330, after I had dropped it off at 8 am, they say it has not even been looked at. Not even 15 minutes later I get a call back saying they found $1800 worth of damage to the water pump and accompanied harnesses!!!! What a crock. After fighting with the GM Monty, Used Car sales mgr Don Schafer, I found that my car was a Certified Pre Owned BMW EXISTING from 2008. Meaning they walked around the car, checked for scratches and checked it off as ready to go. So then they tell me they are willing to take the car back and give me another car off the lot for the same value I bought it for. Ya right. So they can make money not only off the original sale of the car to me, but the sale of car I would have picked out AND the re sale of my car when they put it back on the lot. What a joke. I asked the Service advisor, Chris, what would happen if I opted out of the service and drove off the lot. He told me my car would BLOW UP. Absolutely asinine. I took my car to a specialty shop that handles foreign cars, specifically BMW Volvo and Mercedes and they fixed the problem in half a day for LESS THAN A THIRD OF THE COST BMW QUOTED ME. Turns out, bad thermostat and frayed wiring harness needed replacement. WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS DEALERSHIP EVER AGAIN, THEY ARE SWINDLERS AND SHOW NO RESPECT UNTIL YOU THREATEN WITH LEGAL ACTION. I recently bought a new 335i convertible and requested specialty tags. I was told BMW could not provide this service. I came into Momentum to pick up my tags and saw another customer with specialty tags specialty tags. I was told BMW could not provide this service. I came into Momentum to pick up my tags and saw another customer with specialty tags. I asked him how he got the tags and he told me the dealer took care of it for him. I went to talk to the sale manager Clifton and he was blowing me off stating the other customer did not know what he was talking about and that he was wrong. The GM Monty was sitting there as well but at the time never identified himself as the GM and was supporting the sales manager. I went back out to the service area and told the customer exactly what was just said to me. The customer stated he had problems when he bought his new car and the dealer Momentum BMW took care of these specialty tags. He urged strongly for me to not let BMW tell me they cannot do it because they did it for him. I returned back to speak to the sales manager and told them again what the customer said emphasing BMW did do it. The sales manager never once asked my name but very arrogantly was trying to dismiss me and told me he would follow-up. I asked for his card and that is the only way I knew his name was Clifton Miller. I never got a follow-up and called my sales rep who sold me the BMW and told him what had occurred. He was told by Clifton to stay out of it and that he would handle it. A week later still no call. I called the dealer to see if the GM was in before I drove to the dealer to speaker with him. Upon my arrival the front deak told me the GM was in and to have a seat. Clifton Miller saw me and immediately came up to the area where I was sitting and asked if he could help. I told him no, i didn't appreciate him no following up and that I was there to speak to the GM. He adamantly stated the GM was not there. The sales manager Clifton engaged in a loud argument with me about the GM not being there and my "attitude". I was outraged by his unprofessionalism and the fact he was arrogant enoug hto think he could talk to me that way and it was acceptable. The finance director walked up and asked if he could help not knowing what the saled manager Clifton Miller had just lied about the GM not being at there. I asked if the GM was there and without hestitation he said yes. The sale manager walked off and went to the back where the GM office is which I found out later. This game went on for about 45 minutes. Another sales person came and told me the GM was not there. I went back to the finance director's office and asked if he planned on telling me or was he going to let me just sit there. It was obvious there was a game being played and Clifton had people lieing for him. I left and within 10 minutes the GM calls me from tthe dealership. I returned immediately to discover the GM was the man sitting there next to sales manager the prior week when I was asking about the specialty tags... At this point I did not expect anything and wanted an apology for they way I was so disrespected by the behavior of his sales team. The GM Monty Meave sat and listened, never offered an apology for the way I was treated and never once stated he value my business. It is clearly a "boys" club and I felt discriminated against because of my gender. This is reflective of how the GM runs his sales team. The whole experience is quiet unbelievable and that they actually treat customer's like that. I justed paid $70K for a new car and this is how I was treated after the sale. More
Servicing a $100k 750LI should be a painless exercise. DO NOT count on that from Momentum BMW South. Mine had a simple problem with remote on the key. I was told the car needed an alignment which cost $450. NOT count on that from Momentum BMW South. Mine had a simple problem with remote on the key. I was told the car needed an alignment which cost $450. I just had an alignment 6 mos ago. When I questioned the service representative, he said that is right and he should have checked the records - Shouldn't that go without saying? When I went to pick up the car (after being told it was ready to go) it came out and was absolutely filthy! So back to be cleaned and got it an hour early. I just don't understand how these guys can't get it right. I am absolutely sure that their customers aren't bumbling idiots - so why do they treat us like that! I bought the car in there 2008 and have had it serviced 3 times. All 3 times had serious issues. They are deceitful, carless and very unprofessional. DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED THERE! More
If I could give it ZERO stars I would. I recently bought a car from here and it has not been a good experience. The sales process was too lengthy and I never received a couple things I was assured were alre a car from here and it has not been a good experience. The sales process was too lengthy and I never received a couple things I was assured were already shipped out. Less than 2 months after the purchase I had brake issues. The first time I brought it in, they said they fixed the problem but surprisingly they were still squeaking later that day. The second time I brought my car in, they finally replaced the back brakes. BEWARE!!!!! I had my Ipod stolen from this dealership. They make you sign a waiver when you drop your car off stating they are not responsible for items removed from your car. I accidentally left my iPod in the center compartment where it has the USB connection. I called my tech and he called me back a couple days later and said "they have been having some issues with items going missing but have not located the employees involved". He made sure to remind that I was still responsible for the missing item. Thanks a lot, I just spent 40K with you jerks and your going to lose me as a customer over a $80 iPod???? Stay away from both sides of this dealership, they suck and have ruined my previous stellar 5 year experience with BMW. More
We cannot thank Mai enough! After working with her for some time, my husband signed the paperwork on a preowned 2008 Honda Civic Si yesterday. Mai was a spectacular sales person to work with. She was pati some time, my husband signed the paperwork on a preowned 2008 Honda Civic Si yesterday. Mai was a spectacular sales person to work with. She was patient while my husband found the right car for him. She stayed in touch and always called back when she said she would. You can tell she is busy, but she was still able to give us the attention we needed. She was very professional and helpful. We had an excellent experience working with her and Momentum BMW. They gave my husband an excellent trade in price for his truck and extended him in house financing, which was just icing on top of the cake with Mai's professionalism and helpfulness! We would definitely recommend anyone to visit Momentum BMW for a used vehicle! Thank you so much Mai!! More
I am a experienced car owner and buyer. I am 40 years old and have had over 12 cars in my driving history. However, I have never owned or bought a BMW. I decided to try them out. I am started with a 3 old and have had over 12 cars in my driving history. However, I have never owned or bought a BMW. I decided to try them out. I am started with a 3 series to see if I like the feel of the car. I went to Momentum on SW Frwy to start. First, it took 3 days to get an approval on 700 credit scores. ???? I picked out a car, test drove it home and decided that was not the car of choice. It then took the credit department another 24 hours to let me know I can change vehicles. However, they were not happy about me selecting another vehicle. After 4 days of back and forth with the sales individual, finance dept and the sales manager, I made them sit down with me on my options. They advised me that the first car that I test drove was the better choice due to the 100k miles extended warranty, the percentage rate on the finance and the miles on the car. I was not happy wtih the car but decided to take the car due to the $0.0 maintenance and service plan. Three days after ownership of the car, it needed to go back for a head light issue. GUESS WHAT. I would have to pay for that. Can you believe that 3 people in the sales department lied to me about $0.0 payment for repairs? The service advisor admitted this is a major issue with the sales staff. I am highly upset. How can there be miscommunication between two departments within the same BUILDING. I puchased THAT particular vehicle because I was told there would be $0.0 maintenance and service, bumper to bumper for 100K miles. Not the case. The warranty will expire 9/2011 and I have some time of LIMITED warranty in which I have to pay a 50.00 deductible......ARE YOU KIDDING ME. That sounds like some type of after market warranty. So the basis for me buying a car that I really didn't not like was sold under false pretense. More

Very pathetic customer relations. You can buy the car but afterward their attitude totally changes. If you ever have to take your car in for any repair or service, be prepared for the most unprofessional gro afterward their attitude totally changes. If you ever have to take your car in for any repair or service, be prepared for the most unprofessional group of people working here. Not friendly or courteous at all. In fact can be pretty rude. No one calls you back to give you any update on your car. You have to call several times and leave messages, day after day, to get a reply back. There are always out of loaner cars. Would charge you even if the issue is something different. Never honor appointments. I would not recommend this dealership at all. I own a BMW 650. regards More
I was quoted 18 days to fix my car, it ended up taking about 6 weeks and my car is not in the condition it was before my wreck. You have to continuously call on your vehicle because communication about y about 6 weeks and my car is not in the condition it was before my wreck. You have to continuously call on your vehicle because communication about your vehicle is nearly nonexistant and trying to get your rep to call you back is a joke, (although i'll say he was polite when i could get a hold of him). My car ran perfectly before the wreck, i took it here (not sure why, because I've had a bad experience here before) to be fixed and when i went back to pick it up the first time (of 3) there were new door dents from the careless staff supposedly fixing my car. The paint job was mediocre at best, and the dash vibrated in neutral, this has NEVER happened before the wreck, but it wasn't covered by the insurance???? Take my multiple bad experiences at this body shop as a warning, in my opinion DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE TO BE FIXED, you will waste your time and money. More
