This is the second car I have purchased from ML Motors. The owner, Barry Rost, is a total mensch (sp?) and Dave Slavin was extremely helpful and comfortable to be around. Although the shopping experience was great at this dealer, the actual delivery of the vehicle was a bit disturbing. BUYERS BEWARE: If you're buying a new car from Mohegan Lake Motors, or even a used o dealer, the actual delivery of the vehicle was a bit disturbing. BUYERS BEWARE: If you're buying a new car from Mohegan Lake Motors, or even a used one, makes sure that you ask for a full tank of gas upon delivery! I picked up a brand new $31,000 Volkswagen from this dealer and was surprised to see less than a 1/4 tank of gas in the car. I've purchased many new cars over the years, and have always picked up my shiny new car with a full tank of gas... until now. I've since been told by friends who were customers of other competing local VW dealers that they actually DID receive a full tank of gas when picking up their cars, so I'm not sure why Mohegan Lake has a different policy on this. Long story short, don't get caught driving off the lot in a shiny new car, only to have to stop at gas station before your drive home! Just a bit of advice. Make sure you tell your salesperson that you want a gauranteed full tank of gas before you actually sign any papers. Again, the dealership was otherwise very courteous during the sales process, and they did give me the best deal after shopping around. Good luck! More
