Above & Beyond We were visiting relatives when we had problems with our Honda. We're out of state and didn't know where to go, but our relatives highly recommended M We were visiting relatives when we had problems with our Honda. We're out of state and didn't know where to go, but our relatives highly recommended Mohawk Honda. We got there about 2 hours before they closed on Saturday, so they weren't able to look at it until Monday. We were surprised when we got a call from John Higgins early Monday morning informing us the cause of our problem was the alternator. He also told us the cause of the alternator failure was an oil leak....which our local service department hadn't noticed even though they had changed the oil several weeks before. We gave John the go ahead to replace the alternator and then went out for brunch. We had just finished when we got another call from him saying the car was ready! We were able to pick the car up and still get home before dark! Dealing with John was a pleasure..he told us what he was going to do, did it, and kept us up to date throughout. He and the technician, Mike Healey, worked to get our car fixed as soon as possible so we could be on our way home. If we lived in the area, we would definitely be Mohawk Honda customers. THANK YOU! My first time at Mohawk Honda Nick was great. He went out and brought my car in for service, and noticed I was new. He showed me and my Great Dane around, and made us feel welcome. Nick was great. Great resolution to an unfortunate issue I love my 2012 Honda Pilot and my plan was to hang on to it for as long as possible, I have 90,000+ miles on my Pilot and have had no significant pr I love my 2012 Honda Pilot and my plan was to hang on to it for as long as possible, I have 90,000+ miles on my Pilot and have had no significant problems. The car is comfortable and I always drive to Florida for our winter retreat. While there this year my Pilot displayed check engine light and several other warning lights came on. Brought the car to a Honda dealer in Sarasota, FL and I was told that there was oil fouling the # 1 sparkplug and the issue was covered by a warranty extension campaign. They were unable to do a complete repair but made a temporary repair so that I could get back home to Schenectady NY. I went to Mohawk Honda to have the necessary repairs completed. I spoke with the service manager, Lisa Valentino about the issue and Lisa was very knowledgeable about the issue and very helpful. Lisa set up an appointment for me to have the repairs made and arranged to have me use a courtesy vehicle at no cost. I was impressed! When I brought the car in for the work I spoke to service advisor Brian Peters. Brian was very accomodating and explained the repairs that were to be performed in detail. Brian was great at communicating information about the repairs and made helpful suggestions that allowed me to make informed decisons on a few addtional repairs that he offered. (timing belt/water pump/serpentine belt) They were all scheduled in the foreseeable future and Brian suggested that I may want to consider the repairs now to save on labor costs. I had the extra work completed and was happy to have been presented with the option. Brian and Lisa were very accommodating, great communicators and a pleasure to work with. More

One Saturday morning we noticed a low tire on the car called and spoke with John Higgins in service and said come right down and he would have the car looked at for us. Then he noticed that the inspection was due and the wipers were warm. So we told him to go ahead and with in an hour the car was ready to go. So happy and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks John.
