Great Experience Recently purchased 2 cars at Mohawk - one for my daughter and a surprise car for my husband. It felt like the entire agency was in on the surprise for my husband and they were so thrilled to be a part of it. Made it seem like a real family affair. We had been to Mohawk on 2 previous occasions and had such a great experience with Brian McKenna as our salesman that it only made sense to go back there (it is a 100-mile trip for us). Not only was Brian terrific to deal with again, it was his day off and he willingly made the appointment with us knowing how far we had to come. Greg Johnson literally met us at the door (having assisted us previously) and helped get us started because Brian was busy with another appointment (again, on his day off!). The comfort factor in going to Mohawk is what keeps us going back. Thanks, guys! It feels like a family reunion when we go there, but needing 3 vehicles in the last 2 years has taken us there more often than is normal. More

Very Friendly and Nice but Service Performed Has Been Sloppy I dread my service visits at MH because something always seems to go wrong. Everyone is very friendly but the technicians performing the work are slo I dread my service visits at MH because something always seems to go wrong. Everyone is very friendly but the technicians performing the work are sloppy. I was just there to have my taillight replaced. I was called when the job was done and given my keys to be on my way. I was almost out the door when I thought I should check my signal lights. The signal on the light that was replaced was not working. How could the tech release the car back to the customer without checking this? Part of my invoice was a document even indicating this was checked (where it obviously wasn't). I would have been extremely upset if I had left without realizing this, only having to turn around and make another trip back the next day to fix it. My trip prior to this was purchasing 4 brand new tires and spending $800+. The next day one of my new tires was flat. Back to MH I went. They did a soapy wash and found a defective stem valve that was leaking. Why wasn't that done after they put the new tires in the first place to avoid a problem and a dissatisfied customer? I need to take time off work for all these trips and it's not convenient at all. Bottom line, I value service work being done right the first time over being told "sorry about that" in a friendly way. More

Great lease purchasing experience Sales associate Mark Ellis noticed that I was examining cars in the lot. He came out to welcome me. He listened to what I had to say, nothing doubting, and asked my what model, color(s), and price range I was looking for. He did not pretend surprise when I mentioned that I had heard about the new Honda special lease offers going on. After showing me around the dealership's service and hospitality areas, he quickly worked up a terrific deal exactly in $$-my ballpark-$$ and even promised that the dealership would take charge of returning my leased Hyundai to the competing dealership. While he started the sales paperwork, I was treated to gourmet cookies and beverages. He then introduced me to the on-site business manager (Kelly) and insurance specialist (Wendy), detailed my new car, and finally helped me transfer my possessions from the car I was giving up to my new Civic. I was happily on my way home with my new car by mid-afternoon, just three hours after I had first arrived. Great experience!. More
