The service by Mohawk Chevrolet was a very positive experience service wise. During my routine oil change they notices my power steering had an issue. My only issue was that this second replacement of the high pressure power steering hose in the last 2 1/2 years. At a cost of over $1,000 each time, I guess my question is, was it not repaired well the first time they did it, as this seems very quick for the same thing to break again. More

My experience at Mohawk Chevy was extremely disheartening. I was sent there from Mohawk Honda (my purchasing dealer that I loved) because my Chevy Equinox needed repairs. Hopefully the sales de disheartening. I was sent there from Mohawk Honda (my purchasing dealer that I loved) because my Chevy Equinox needed repairs. Hopefully the sales department operates better than the service department. They required constant follow-ups and only felt like sharing information they thought I needed to know versus the whole picture. When told that the job I thought would be covered by my warranty wasn't, it prompted me to call the warranty company. I then learned additional details were shared with them, but not me, which resulted in it not being covered. Long story short, this turned into a constant back and forth with the warranty company, dealership and myself. Other than calling the warranty company, which is oh wait, part of their job, they didn't do anything extra to try and help me with my now $3000 repair until management got involved. At that point, some adjustments were made but the follow through and honesty didn't change. When I finally got to pick up my car a month later, the amount I was quoted was still different. Over a week later, and I am still waiting for my refund check. Also, my warranty covered a loaner car, which they couldnt provide me and had no other options to support me with that. So the entire time, I was shuffling rides and borrowing family member's cars to get to and from work. Even after an email to the President and Vice-President of the dealership, nothing more has changed. There solution was to just forward the email to the manager we were complaining about. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. Worst customer service experience of my life. More

Car was written up quickly but the car has been in for cooling service multiple times. Several hoses were replaced over the course of several visits.
