Brought my 2010 Prius in to service because the tires appeared low on pressure...the weather had been rainy so I needed to make sure I was safe in my car on the roads. A few days earlier I had the ca appeared low on pressure...the weather had been rainy so I needed to make sure I was safe in my car on the roads. A few days earlier I had the car in for 5k service..not all of the service guys were busy so I went into the main showroom area and asked if they could check the car real fast...the girls looked at the schedule and said that service was booked up. Maybe on paper but not in reality. That I would have to make an appointment..just ridiculous. That was so bad..so I just went to the service guy standing around and asked if he could check my tires and he did very nicely.. My problem with Modern Toyota of Boone is ALWAYS the ladies in the showroom area where you have to go for service appts are not flexible AT ALL. And it happened two other times - one to drop in and have an oil change/tire rotate and the other to check a brake light... I am stuck though - Modern is the only one in Boone ...if there was a choice I would go elsewhere. Also they need to have a speedy oil change/tire rotation service without having to make an appointment.. More

This dealership botched my frame recall job, lied to me all along the way, and now refuses to fix truck so it is operative. They should change their name to "Bend-over" toyota. It started when my 4wd we all along the way, and now refuses to fix truck so it is operative. They should change their name to "Bend-over" toyota. It started when my 4wd went bad. I took it in and they said I needed a new differential and I said ok. When they were changing out the differential they noticed that the frame had rusted out and formed a whole where the differential mounts. The replaced the differential, charged me $1500 and sent me on my way with a 4wd that did not work properly. They said it was because of the frame patch they welded on. A few months later the frame for my truck was recalled, replaced and still the 4wd didn't work. They had over time these reasons for not working: That is how it is on pavement. You have two different size tires(not true)We put the wrong ratio differential in(which later they said that there was only one type of differential) and on and on.
