Ervin is the salesman to see! I had not purchased a new car since 2008 so when I began my search I was completely overwhelmed with choices, packages, and trim levels. After I narrowed my search, I originally dreaded the test drive because I did not want the added pressure of a pushy salesperson to overwhelm me even further. (Unfair assumption, I know, but my previous experience from years ago wasn't the greatest) I had decided to look at a Nissan Pathfinder so I pulled the reviews for my local dealership, hoping to find a review for a salesperson that would be a good match for me. There it was....Ervin Antonio-Perez....considered patient, informed and not pushy. Ervin was my guy! So I called Ervin, told him what I had read about him, and let him know I was already feeling overwhelmed and just wanted to meet for a test drive. So we met and guess what we talked about during the test drive?....only the test drive! No discussion of down payment, anticipated payment amount, financing....nothing but explaining the vehicle and its features. We went on a test drive long enough to really get a feel for the vehicle and it was just a stress-free, comfortable test drive with Ervin providing information I needed to help me make a decision. Once we returned to the dealership, Ervin said he wanted me to meet DeMario Hutchins, New Car Sales Manager. I was thinking, "Oh no! This is where I'm handed off to the next guy, things escalate and my good experience is going to be ruined!". (Again, assumptions made from my past experience) So DeMario comes in and what do we talk about?...the test drive and how it went! Again, no money talk! I even discussed other makes and models I was considering and he never bad-mouthed a non-Nissan model. I made the final decision a few days later to move forward with the Pathfinder purchase. During negotiations, I spoke to Steven Cunningham, General Sales Manager, who was responsive and direct and I appreciated coming to an agreed-upon price quickly without a lot of senseless games. To finalize the purchase, I worked with Jonathon Cobb, Finance Manager, who was prepared with all the paperwork and full explanations of what I was signing. Overall, the dealership has great reviews and, after working directly with four members of the Modern Nissan team, I understand why. I highly recommend this dealership and 100% recommend speaking to Ervin as your salesperson. He was incredibly accommodating, patient, well-informed and was instrumental in helping me find a vehicle that I love! Thanks Ervin!! More
