I purchased a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Limited Front Wheel Drive on August 30, 2024. I had the sincere pleasure of having Richard Tillman as my Sales Consultant. He was friendly, thoughtful, knowledgeable, professional, and patient. Richard knew that I had loyalty to Toyota (272,000 miles) and to Volvo (329,000 miles) and he was not pushy in trying to sell the vehicle. Richard shared his knowledge of Hyundai vehicles and in particular in the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Limited and he shared about the warranties that backed the Hyandai vehicles. During the process he listened to my concerns and was patient with my many questions. He took the time to answer my questions and made sure I was comfortable with his answers. When I decided to purchase the vehicle, the process went smoothly, and Richard made sure the vehicle was ready to go at the end of the process. After the purchase, Richard did call and spoke with me. I shared this because when I completed the Hyundai Motor America survey, there was a question about whether "Hyundai contacted me after the purchase" I answered "no" because I thought the question related to someone from Hyundai Motor America, not the local dealership, and the previous questions were related specifically to the sales consultant. To answer the question correctly, "Yes, Richard did contact me." I also visited Richard about two weeks later and he took the time to speak with him. He was his jovial self. I hope that my experience with my 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Limited will be like that of my experiences with Toyota and Volvo and that my vehicle will last 300,000.00 miles. My experience thus far based on my interaction with Richard has been positive and if Richard is the face of the local dealership and the national company then it should be positive. For those reading this review, I highly recommend asking for Richard Tillman to be your sales consultant. Richard was a big reason for purchasing the vehicle at Modern Hyundai. Thank you, Richard, for being you and for going the extra mile. More

I have an update. My mother has since taken her vehicle to another Hyundai/Genesis store in which they acknowledged/accepted the agreement without complication. I have emailed both the Modern owner, Mr Fowler, and the store's GM, Mr Wilborne twice regarding the matter. Neither of them have responded. While I'm disappointed, I'm thankful there was another Hyundai dealership who had the integrity to honor the contract that Modern negotiated but failed to honor, themselves. At the least, a formal apology is appropriate. I would greatly appreciate if Mr Fowler and Mr Wilborne would respond to my emails pertaining to the matter. More
