When questioned about it the salesperson became aggressive and stated that plenty of people just pay it and that they didn't need my business. Her only defense was that some lots charge more....... Well some lots don't charge one at all. As high as both new and used cars are, the last thing we as consumers need is someone making more money just because they can. More

Jake was more like a consultant than a salesman , he sold me what i wanted not what he wanted .all the people i there was nice and made me fill a home .i love my use car . Great dealership just be prepared to push back I like these guys a lot. All dealerships are not created equal. These guys have heavy buying power which means they can be squeezed more on the price I like these guys a lot. All dealerships are not created equal. Just remember they are in business to make money so if you don't squeeze don't expect them to offer all they have to offer. These guys are fantastic at making deals happen even though they are consistent in low balling your trade. But again.....squeeze back. Will gladly buy from again. Would have gladly given you guys a full 5 star if you didnt beat me up on trade every single time. More

Car repair I took my car in 01/02/15 because of a leakage in my coolant system,(I did make an appointment) Upon arriving a very nice young lady checked me in. After a couple hours I received a call from Brain telling me what was wrong with my car. Brian was talking so fast I couldn't under stand what he was saying. I asked him repeatly to slow down so I could understand what he was saying. He keep on talking I had to get loud and tell him to hold up, that I couldn't understand what he was saying. He's voice began to be rude to the point I was getting ready to hang up on him. I called back to ask to speak to a manager plus I call GM complaint line. Someone did call ne back. think it was the store manager. He apologize and offer me a rental for free until I can get my car. Once I got there I asked for him....I think his name is Doug, he confirm the rental and things was going well, except for the rude young lady behind the desk when she was talking about a deductable and became angry when I asked her what she is talking about. I provide the information and she asked for a credit card number which I do not have one. I have a debit card. She and Doug said I could not get a rental which pissed me off cause I drove always across town for it. I end up walking home cause I could not get in touch with my daughter. I live near downtown that's a long walk. Today 1/3/15 I called around 10 am to check on my car and was told it would be ready around 12. I called before going and she replied let me check in the computer, afterward she informed me that my car would be ready around 2pm..... around 2:30 I called again and again the paper work was not done. around 3pm, received a called that my car would not be ready til Monday because my car jumped time and that's what cause the water pump to go bad. I never heard that before. Boy I have never been so mad at the people at Modern Chevelet before cause the use to be so dang professional. They talk to you any kind of way now. I finally got a call from Terry when try to explain the situation and promise that my care will be ready around Monday evening. I feel that I have been lied to and giving the run around. Poor Customer Service I DO NOT RECOMMEND MODERN CHEVROLET service, but I would recommend that the owner of Modern Chevrolet put the Service Technicians through customer ser I DO NOT RECOMMEND MODERN CHEVROLET service, but I would recommend that the owner of Modern Chevrolet put the Service Technicians through customer service training. Train them to CALL CUSTOMERS to advise CUSTOMERS of the status of their vehicle. While traveling from Georgia, through North Carolina our 2011 Chevy Silverado 3500, still under warranty, stopped running. We chose to have the truck towed to Modern Chevrolet, since it was close by, even though Vann York's Chevrolet in High Point, was closer to our hotel. It was a mistake that we will regret. We were stranded three hundred miles from home in a place we weren't familiar with. After three days, I called the Service Technician, who handled our case, to find out the status of the truck. He said that my wife had called yesterday. A service technician told her what might be the problem; they ordered parts; and that if there is any change in status, that they would call us. I apologized and said that my wife didn't understand what he said might be the problem or what parts have been ordered. He again said that he would call me when he knows the status of the truck. I made sure that he had my cell phone number. Each day, I reserved another day at our hotel with an unknown date of leaving. I called my supervisors to let them know that Modern Chevrolet doesn't know where the parts are, or when the will be completed. Each day, the Technician would never call me, but I would call toward the end of the day to not irritate anyone. I felt that my one call at the end of each day, to find out the status of the truck, was an irritant to our case Technician. On the fifth day I asked him for just a couple of minutes of "customer service" so that I could tell my supervisor in Georgia what is happening. He told me what part has been ordered and there is no further status on the truck. I reserved the hotel for a sixth night. The seventh day I decided to call and talk to a different Technician. He was so informative. He told me that the catalytic converter should be in tomorrow and that they would install it tomorrow. I was so RELIEVED to be able to tell my supervisor some solid information. I was stranded at the hotel a little over a week without a vehicle. It would have been easier for me, THE CUSTOMER, if they would have called my cell phone to let me know the status of the truck. But even though they said that they would call, they would not call to let me know what they knew. I felt like I had to apologize to the technician, each day that I called. I have been working in PUBLIC RELATIONS for twenty four years. My suggestion to the owner of Modern Chevrolet is to put the Technicians through PUBLIC RELATIONS TRAINING. I give them an 'F' in PUBLIC RELATIONS. I cannot recommend Modern Chevrolet. I have been given great customer service from EVERY OTHER Chevrolet dealer, service center, that I have been to. All other Chevrolet service centers have washed the truck too, after servicing it, but not Modern. That is a small thing, but it makes it look like they appreciate the patronage. I received no written information on what was done to the vehicle during the week that Modern Chevrolet had it. More

Great Salesperson (Henry McDonough), and Team We were very please to have dealt with Henry on purchasing a new 2014 Suburban. We have owned Suburban's since 1993. This is quality vehicle. Henry was able to answer all our questions and concerns on obtaining this unit. When we need additional information, he contacted Jeff Wood. Jeff met our needs perfectly in completing the deal. Henry was able to make us feel good on the trade-in price of our old 2007 Suburban and additional discounts that were available. We look forward to owning another great Suburban and working with Modern Chevrolet on any and all of its future service requirements. If any one is needing to purchase a vehicle, Henry is a great salesperson to work with at Modern. In closing, Steven Gledhill was very through in finishing the financing of this unit. He handled it very good and we are happy with the result. Brittanie Fritts did a great job explaining the new features that were different from our old Suburban. Modern had a good selection of car to pick from and Henry and the rest of the Modern family helped me make a good decision. The dealership is very friendly, knowledgeable of all brand and style cars. They go out of their way to answer any questions and take care of any problems that I have. The service dept. is exceptional (Andy Beamer) is top of the line. Always helpful and takes care of all my needs. I know I always get a FAIR dealer @ Modern. That is why I always come back to them when I need a new vehicle. Henry and the staff @ Modern are at the top of their game. Good, reliable, honest, hard working individuals that you can count on for the life of your car.
