I test drove most SUVs in the luxury market before deciding on the Acura MDX. I initially test drove the MDX with George McCollough of Acura Mission Viejo. After deciding on the MDX, I contacted the "Internet managers" at most southern California dealerships, except for Acura of Mission Viejo. After negotiating with several other dealerships on the phone and Internet, I contacted Mr. McCollogh to tell him we preferred to buy the car from him since he provided such good customer service when we test drove the MDX. However, since price was the deciding factor for us, he would have to match the best deal I was able to find from all the other southern California dealerships. Mr. McCollough understood we were trying to save money and said he would talk with his manager to see what they could do. About five minutes later, Mr. McCollough returned my call with the great news that Mission Viejo Acura would match the best deal I was able to find after shopping all the other dealerships.
