Been looking for a Kia for a month and didn't know about Mission Viejo until I widened my search from Los Angeles for a 2024 Kia Carnival SX Prestige in stock. They even had the exterior & interior combinat Mission Viejo until I widened my search from Los Angeles for a 2024 Kia Carnival SX Prestige in stock. They even had the exterior & interior combination I had been looking for! Called up the dealership and was connected to Marty Patterson, requested for an appointment to check out the car right when Labor Day weekend started. Marty was honest and upfront with my questions about the car/off the lot price/and availability of the car without pressuring me to come right away knowing how busy Labor Day Weekend would be. Fortunately the appointment to see the car was made 3 days after initial contact, we loved the car and went right ahead to his office to work on wrapping up the deal. I already was pre-approved through my bank for financing but Marty was able to make Kia Financing more preferable so we went with them. Didn't plan on buying the car the same day, so he was very patient with us working on finalizing the paperwork while we ran to the bank to grab a cashier's check. Absolutely an amazing service with Marty and I had feared buying cars for so long after my prior car buying experience taking 6+ hours. This was also the very few Kia's without an absurd dealer addendum, just some small accessories part of the car that we didn't mind added in. We arrived at 2:30pm, test drove and checked the car out for 30 minutes, then finished the purchase including the bank visit by 6pm. Even at 8 months pregnant, I didn't feel anxious or stressed by the purchase. Marty was incredibly respectful and helpful, with funny stories about parenthood since we were upgrading to our first minivan for that purpose. Highly recommend doing business here! Only con we experienced was no option to have the car delivered home, so we had to drive the car we came with and purchased back home 2 hours separately. More

Daniel was the only reason I came into the dealership and the primary reason I signed on-site. His email outreach the month prior was consistent enough not to bury in my inbox but not so often to be bothers the primary reason I signed on-site. Compared to other dealers- he listened to what I wanted and didn’t repeat questions. On-site, he continued to listen, was never condescending or impatient with questions or negotiations. I did have a lower offer elsewhere and while I do wish and feel the dealership could have shown further flexibility in pricing, it wasn’t so much that I was willing to start over with another salesman.
