Mission Viejo INFINITI responded

As the review states, Mr. Ravenstine’s complaint is that Infiniti Financial Services (IFS) has a different procedure for lease buyouts than Jaguar Financial. Infiniti of Mission Viejo or any other Infiniti dealer does not have the ability to change Infiniti Financial’s policies and procedures. The procedures were emailed to Mr.. Ravenstine over one week before he bought out his lease. He did not follow Infiniti Financial’s rules and pay by the stated date, so IFS increased the payoff amount according to its own policies. All necessary information was emailed to Mr. Ravenstine and confirmed over the phone when he called to complain the way IFS handles lease buyouts was “stupid.” When his credit union called Infiniti Financial Services to clarify the rules for buying out the lease, the IFS representative also confirmed the procedure. His unwillingness to follow the clear instructions as conveyed by the dealership, his credit union and IFS itself does not constitute a lack of communication. As he continued to complain that IFS did not conform to Jaguar Financial we assured him he could buy out his lease from any Infiniti dealership or even not buy out his lease if it was not in his best interest. He decided to buy out his lease and complain instead. Briefly stated, Mr. Ravenstine chose to shoot the messenger rather than follow instructions.
