I originally went to see Lamar in September to buy a new Altima. At that time he was not able to get the finacing right for me. I went to Bob Richards with the intention of test driving and getting an estimate on my trade. Lamar and Drew were very easy to work with. After driving the vehicle they gave me an initial offer in addition to incentives. After explaining my numbers and showing the prices I wanted they were able to meet the price and value for my trade that I needed in order to buy. They came through with everything I needed in order to come away with a car and I was able to drive away in a 2011 Altima Coupe at an unbeatable price. I recently purchased a 2010 Nissan Altima from Mark Owen!! It was Truly Exceptional!!! The website offered a "Make an Offer" tab on a 2009 Maxima that was posted. I made an offer and received a call from Elaine F. the next day. She stated that they were running a great end of year sale and that it would be over on November 30. Considering that I live 1 1/2 hours away, I filled out the application online so that I could stick to my budget. I clearly stated to Elaine what my budget was for the Maxima and asked if it would be sufficient for this particular car. I told her that I did not want to travel that far unless the car was in my budget. She stated that I had nothing to worry about because of the end of year sale that was going on. I drove down to Bob Richards Nissan after work. When I arrived, I asked Elaine if I could see the car and she stated that she wanted to get my trade-in info first. So I was patient and waited. After about 30 minutes, I asked again to see the car. She stated that an Altima would be better for me than a Maxima. Did I ask for an Altima?????? Is that what I drove 1 1/2 hours for? NO. Her boss came in and tried to persuade me to get an Altima after being told numerous times that I did not want an Altima. They stated that my credit was good and the only problem was that my payments would not be within the budget that I wanted. Elaine could have told me that over the phone. They had all the information that they needed before I left my home. I wasted my time this afternoon with Elaine. One of her last comments was that she never lies to a customer. Really??? That is exactly what she did to me. And get this....I never saw the car. Elaine told her boss that she couldn't find it. Are you serious??????ALL LIES. So anyone looking to buy from this dealership, I hope that you are in the Augusta area so that your time won't be wasted traveling from a distance because of something you were told on the phone. If you are an internet shopper and like the 'No Hassle" component of internet shopping, this is not the dealership for you. ALL LIES. I still can not believe that I DID NOT EVEN SEE THE 2009 MAXIMA! Wow! More
