Service never calls with status of your vehicle in the shop! The service department is bad and never returns calls when messages are left and never calls to tell you the status of the repairs on your vehicle. Beware of this dealership and Lori. Tried to purchase a car for my daughter from Lori and this dealership. Found the car on cars.com. Out of state and the dealership would do NOTHING to Tried to purchase a car for my daughter from Lori and this dealership. Found the car on cars.com. Out of state and the dealership would do NOTHING to help accomodate us being out of state or us needing the paperwork fed-exed or the car transfered etc. Then Lori was dishonest and very rude about the car. We drove 300 miles because Lori told us over the phone the car was clean with no defects. When we got there there was black spots all over the car that appeared to be dried tree sap that would not come out of the paint along with dings and scratches. When we asked Lori to explain she got very defensive and said it wasnt on the car that morning when she checked. Also the miles were about 500 over what was listed on the website and on the buyers order sent to us. When approached about this Lori indicated it was there right to drive the car as much as they wanted, etc. then she told us it was a used car and if we wanted a new car the new Toyato dealership was right down the road! RUDE RUDE RUDE Needless to say we left and didnt buy that car. We fortunately found one in ATL the very next day with 5000 fewer miles and perfect inside and out for the same price and the Voltswagon Dealership in Alpharetta was wonderful! So nice and even filled the car up to full. Lori would only fill halfway and when asked why the tank wasnt full like she told us on the phone she said "its against our company policy on used cars and when i said to you on the phone i had it gased up, that doesnt have to mean to the top!" I couldnt believe the words coming out of her mouth! More

Beware of their "policy" when buying online Never actually made it into the dealership but boy did we try. Baffled about the whole experience. From what I read otherwise and understand, this is Never actually made it into the dealership but boy did we try. Baffled about the whole experience. From what I read otherwise and understand, this is a very well respected dealer so please, only take this as a lesson learned when buying from Bob Richards on the Web. We have been shopping all over for a particular Dodge truck and found the exact truck we wanted at this dealership-online. We called imemdiately and for the next two days worked with a sales person assigned to us over the phone. She KNEW we lived in Tampa Florida from day one moment one. And she also KNEW we wanted THIS vehicle. For two days we went through all the details, filled out applications, financing and were down to the nitty gritty of getting a deal signed. Everthhing was handled...or so we thought. We had even booked flights for my husband and 2 sons to fly up and take delivery so they could drive back together as a "boys trip" with their new truck. We were waiting for a call so we could transfer $20,000 (our down payment) to them and handle the final contract instead the phone rang and it was a manager who told us- someone else was coming in that night to buy the truck. We said "well, dont sell it to them, we want it, lets sign our contract and take our money and we will be there in a few days and already bought our flights up"...we were told this wasn't possible and that is wasnt company policy to hold a vehicle. We reiterrated, we ddidnt want them to HOLD the vehicle, we wanted them to sell us the car but it would take us a few days to get up there- work, kids, etc. We again already have our flights booked and are willing to give them $20,000. We felt like we were having to reverse the sales process- convincing them to let us have the car. (by the way- we never even haggled over price and were willing to arrange our own delivery of an out of state car- no concessions were made or requested of the dealer at all other than, please let us buy the truck). In the end, their COO called me back and told me he was sorry but this was their company policy and kept saying "not to hold vehicles". I did say I felt like I was talking to a brick wall on this matter. He insisted that it was due to a company policy that is based on high level principle values. That if we got there and didnt like the car, they would not make us take it. And that if we took it and didnt like it after 3 days, they wouldnt hold us to our contract and give us the money back. And since this is the case, they cant wait for us to get up there (even though we would have technically bought the car) becuase then have this moral value that if we didnt like it they would have to give us our money back and let us out of the contract and then that woudl be that much more time they owned the car and didnt have a chance to sell it. After quite a bit of back and forth on this call trying to wrap my head around the nuttiness of this whole situation how I wasnt actually being allowed to give them my money and sign a contract I said "well, ill see if my husband can get a flight in tomorrow" and was immediately therein told "well that wont work now either because someone is in here buying the car now"...It felt really below the belt and wasteful of my time- to get us to this point our hopes up everyone excited about this new purchase and finding the right vehicle to then have a major let down like that. Very dissapointed and mostly, felt unfairly treated by this dealership. If this is their company policy, the sales person we were working with for two days should have made that clear UPFRONT.Ive bought vehicles online and sight-unseen before- never had this issue. But this is a first and a lesson- Ill continue to look online to find the right truck but will be having an upfront conversation with a dealdership before I get into any matters of the "deal" and avoid wasting my time and energy. By the way- not ONCE were the words "im sorry" uttered- I hate to say this but I got that "classic cliche" car dealer run around feeling. More
A great experience from sales, service, and finance. My wife and I purchased a certified 2015 Ram 1500 from Lucas Benjamin. Luke assured we got the best price and followed up with the service department My wife and I purchased a certified 2015 Ram 1500 from Lucas Benjamin. Luke assured we got the best price and followed up with the service department to make sure all of our concerns were addressed. The service department team members were friendly and immediately took care of an open recall on the vehicles air bag system. Afterwards, Luke delivered the truck to my doorstep. Wayne, in finance, made sure we received the lowest interest rate possible. Overall, Bob Richards, provided a great purchasing experience, which we would highly recommend to others. More
