After participating in an online buyer service for a Golf TDI I was contacted by four VW dealerships. Kyle made the initial contact with me. He is very courteous and was eager to help me. I selected Minuteman VW from other VW dealerships because I have purchased previously from Minuteman and have had my cars serviced at Minuteman and I have always been pleased with the service and the people. I arranged with Kyle for a time to meet with others at Minuteman and worked with Eric on discussion of the car. Eric is very knowledgeable about VW cars in general and was able to answer my questions as well as provide considerable technical information about the Golf TDI. We drove a manual TDI, which confirmed my decision to purchase. I met with Derek to discuss the P&S and any opportunity for savings. Eric spent considerable time with me familiarizing me with my car, and answered all my questions about the car, enabling me to feel very comfortable with all of the features of the car. Eric's time reviewing the car's features, answering my questions and overseeing the paperwork and details to set up the car was the most helpful experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Although I didn't buy my 2013 VW Touareg TDI from Minuteman, I couldn't have been more pleased with the service. I had scheduled an appt. and they took me right on time. Valet parking upon arrival and upon departure was very nice -- no searching of the parking lot for my VW among all the other VWs. Courtesy vacuuming and washing of vehicle much appreciated. I needed to get my DSG fluid and filter changed on my 2011 GTI. After calling around to a few dealerships to ask for a quote, Minuteman gave me the best price and I know it was a fair price based on pri 2011 GTI. After calling around to a few dealerships to ask for a quote, Minuteman gave me the best price and I know it was a fair price based on prior internet research. When I asked if the quoted price included any shop fees I was told yes and that it was an out-the-door price including tax. I brought the car in, had it serviced, everything went fine, and when I left was charged the exact amount I was quoted. You'd think this would be a given, but I've had bad experiences with other dealerships in the past where the quoted price doesn't include extra fees. I appreciate the straightforward approach that Jake took with me and will be coming back here for future work. More
