I purchased a 2026 GMC Sierra with 3. 0 Duramax Diesel in June 2026. I did not shop for my truck at Mills GMC because multiple friends reported negative service experiences at Mills GMC a 0 Duramax Diesel in June 2026. I did not shop for my truck at Mills GMC because multiple friends reported negative service experiences at Mills GMC and our recent service experience at Mills Honda was concerning. I attempted to schedule the first oil change at the selling dealer and was advised they did not have an opening for 10 days … and I noted Mills online Service Schedule showed multiple openings Monday afternoon, so I took a chance. I scheduled the appointment at 1:45 PM and dropped my truck off at 1:15. I returned at 2:45 and noted work was not yet started on my truck. I was a little annoyed with the delay on completion and the wait, but very disappointed my truck was returned to me with DEF fluid below 20%. The vehicle inspection report noted DEF “Reservoir 1/2 full” …. Which is flat out wrong and implies to me it is very likely the remainder of the vehicle inspection is also fiction. The selling dealer pressed the point most 3.0 Duramax owners never touch DEF fluid because it is normally topped off at oil change. This is not a practice at Mills GMC. Betsy did fine … I question whether the leadership team has surrounded her with the support for her to be successful and whether the team incentives are designed to insure customer satisfaction or maximize Mills profit.
