Overall experience at Miller Toyota was wonderful. This is the 4th new car we have purchased at Miller. We worked with Sam Lee who is extremely knowledgeable on the Prius (we purchased a 3rd Gen). He too is the 4th new car we have purchased at Miller. We worked with Sam Lee who is extremely knowledgeable on the Prius (we purchased a 3rd Gen). He took a lot of time with us to ensure we were comfortable with the new technology. He has followed up with us multiple times to ensure we are completely satisfied. The vehicle had some tree sap stains on it where it was stored in an off site parking lot. Sam Lee personally supervised the removal of these stains keeping us informed all along the way. This car is simply amazing and we are enjoying the 50 MPG we've averaged in the 4 days we've had this car. More
Shannon was a good sale person. The manager lady totally tried to screw us with the payment term (60 to 72) and we walked out. Basically wasted many hours. Went to Fairfax Toyota and get the same car cheape tried to screw us with the payment term (60 to 72) and we walked out. Basically wasted many hours. Went to Fairfax Toyota and get the same car cheaper and 0% with Toyota Finance(which miller told us we are not qualified with Toyota Finance) Avoid this dealer. I feel bad for the sales people who work there because the management totally xxxxxxon top of a good deal made. But I guess it was a blessing in disguise that the manager lady was a snake because we got a great deal at some where else! More
Our experience with Miller Toyota began with their service department and Mark Taylor (having purchased elsewhere). The expertise of service has been consistently competent. The quality of service le service department and Mark Taylor (having purchased elsewhere). The expertise of service has been consistently competent. The quality of service led us to purchase from Danny ~ an excellent experience from start to finish. He was extremely knowledgeable and concerned with us, not the sale! The exceptional experience came from "Toyota Sam", whose name was given as an employee who would answer questions concerning the Entune system. Even though Sam was not our sales person, he spent time as if I was the most valuable customer ever to enter Miller Toyota. He patiently shared his knowledge. The consistent hiring of such high quality persons of integrity speaks highly of this dealership. Toyota was not my first choice for a vehicle but the high quality of personnel has us delighted to be a family happy to drive cars from Miller Toyota. We highly recommend their sales and service. Summary: I didn't find the Environmental Protection Package or the Extended Warranties from Miller to be a good value. I consider the salesmen were not working in my best interest and were....well, ty Package or the Extended Warranties from Miller to be a good value. I consider the salesmen were not working in my best interest and were....well, typical car salesmen. My wife and I recently purchased a new vehicle from Miller Toyota. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable about the vehicles, and was able to work with us to get us in our car on and our way. Leaving the dealership we were very happy with the purchase, the integrity of the sales staff, and the price (initial offering) on our vehicle. After returning home, I did some more research into the options sold to me by Miller Toyota. The sales clerk recommended purchasing an 'environmental protection package' from them. The benefits described by this package included: (1) an AUTOARMOR coating sealant that will last the life of the vehicle with no need to ever wax the car, (2) a windshield coating called Crystal Fusion that would strengthen the windshield like the coating on eyeglasses, prevent accumulation of bugs and dirt, and also provide water repulsion over the life of the vehicle; (3) spraying an interior surfaces from the vehicle with a stain repellant (4) Filling the 'holes' in the vehicle to provide a quieter ride; and (5) undercoating the vehicle to protect the vehicle from the elements. In addition, there was an 5 year warranty on the vehicle exteriors, interiors, and windshield. At the dealership, these features sounded good things to add to my purchase. My salesman was being very upfront about things, stated that he had them done to his vehicle. And for an additional cost less than about 5% of the vehicle purchase - why not? Then reality set in. (1) After picking up the vehicle from the dealership, it was apparent that my car had just been 'waxed' and I was sent home with a bottle of paint protection treatment to apply to the vehicle. The directions indicate to apply to the vehicle exterior, allow to dry, and buff to a sparkling polish. So much for the lifetime wax. A $5 bottle of wax or 'polish' would have sufficed to do the work myself or a $40 wash and wax treatment from my local carwash. (2)The windshield coating worked great for about 2 months. Presently, the 'crystal' shine has now faded and there is not much more water repulsion than what other windshields provide. And my windshield is covered with bugs and dirt like anything else. Upon doing some research, there is a commercial product available for a fraction of the cost. Its called Aquapel. Go to Amazon. Its about %5 per application and should last the same 2 months that my Crystal Fusion lasted. (3) The interior stain repellant hasn't been tested. I'll give the benefit of the doubt here since I am not inclined to test it. However, a $5 bottle of Scotchguard would have sufficed. (4) There is a rubber sealant around the wheel wells to 'dampen' the external noises. After driving the vehicle for some time, I really don't notice much of an improvement - but maybe if you have sensitive ears it would help. (5) The undercoating is an 'oil-like film' applied to the underside of my vehicle. This should do what is promised. However, the underside of the vehicle is already covered with a CLEAR COAT from the manufacturer. The undercoating does add 'protection' to the vehicle, but it isn't that much of a benefit for the driving conditions that I am in. ...and as far as the warranty - they did come with a warranty, but there are so many "not covered" clauses that it will take you a lawyer to get anything addressed. Also, not told to me at the time of sale - the Toyota cars all come with a 5 year warranty on the paint to not fade, crack, etc. Coupled with my comprehensive coverage on my windshields that is two redundant products. So moral of the story is that I was sold products for about $1000, when I could have spent $60 in similar products and gotten most of the same value. Furthermore, I purchased the 'extended warranty' in the finance department at the time of sale, but cancelled the product. The same warranty package was re-offered to me for purchase from Toyota for about $400 less. Miller also didn't refund my sales tax on the purchase of the warranty. I contacted my sales agent to discuss the bad value in these products and got a nice apology. I am disappointed that the Miller sales team oversold the environmental features and didn't do a better job to communicate alternatives or provide written details about the features promised by the salesman. Fact is - the salesman lied to me about the performance of the Environmental Protection Package. I disappointed in myself for believing the salesman and purchasing this option. They are car salesmen. This experience isn't enough to make me not buy a vehicle from them again or advocate others from against them - I just don't trust them now on anything technical, financial, or value. I lost about $1200 buying my vehicle through Miller. Consider that as tuition for my education that I'm giving out for free - cause that money won't be going towards my kids college expenses. More
We had a great experience at Miller Toyota the other day when we bought our new car. Our salesman was Shannon Covert and he made the whole experience wonderful. He let us test drive as many cars (and time when we bought our new car. Our salesman was Shannon Covert and he made the whole experience wonderful. He let us test drive as many cars (and times) as we needed to to make up our minds on which vehicle to purchase. He knew everything about the vehicle we were looking at (2012 RAV4) and he showed us how everything worked on the vehicle. He is extremely patient and took the time to make sure we knew how everything worked. He explained all the options and pricing on the vehicle including which rebates were available. He was very good at giving clear directions when we were out on the road test driving. The dealership (Miller Toyota in Manassas, VA) had a very healthy inventory of vehicles to choose from - many times you are lucky to find just a few or even one with the options you are looking for, but Miller had quite a few in different colors to choose from with the options we were looking for which was an upgraded package (alloy wheels, sunroof, etc.). It wasn't the sport RAV4 but it was a base model with the upgraded package which made it almost a sport model (it just doesn't have the fog lights). The finance guy, Dan Slayton, was also wonderful in explaining all the extendeed coverage packages, etc. He made sure we understood the money part of it and did a great job explaing things like gap insurance, tire protection packages, etc. If you are in the need for a new car I would say just visit their website and print out their inventory of the model you are interested in - that's what we did and it also displays the internet price next to each vehicle to give you a ball park figure. Sales experience was good; however, have found service related visits and phone calls to leave one frustrated. Posed questions never seem to be directly answered, rather it seems one is always given an a related visits and phone calls to leave one frustrated. Posed questions never seem to be directly answered, rather it seems one is always given an answer from a manual. It's worse when you call in. I guess it's easier to be quick and unfriendly via the phone than in person. I realize that Miller is a very busy dealership, with sales and service, but customer service applies to all aspects of the relationship and not just when one is purchasing or leasing a vehicle. More
When I tried out new Toyota recently, was not given business card from the salesman or the sales mgr. I was presented with a price, but when I asked if my trade-in was going to be evaluated, was told business card from the salesman or the sales mgr. I was presented with a price, but when I asked if my trade-in was going to be evaluated, was told no one was available. First words from sales mgr upon intro was "I understand you won't be buying a car today." No, I said, I like to think things over for a day or two on major purchases. The salesman called me 3 days later to ask what my thoughts were - no lower offer, or ask me to come back in to discuss. Thought I wanted a Toyota past couple years but if I ever feel that I want one in the future, will look outside Manassas. More

He answered all of our questions and made suggestions. I went into the dealership with two different vehicles to research and Amir was very patient and helpful as I test drove both vehicles. I returned two days later with my wife and he again was helpful and knowledgeable with her and her test drive. We ended up buying the Prius V that night and while we have not have the vehicle very long, I am very pleased with this purchase and look forward to many years of service. We had previously purchase two vehicles from Miller many years ago and it has been a pleasure to become a return customer. They have a great facility, everyone seems to care about the customer and were friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this dealership and specifically Amir Sadeghi our salesperson. More
