Thanks for your review. We have communicated several times privately through the Dealer Rater system. It appears that you visited us in February when 2011 Prius was offered at 0% or a $1000 Cash Rebate. The approval for 0% is made by Toyota Financial Services. Their credit score criteria changes as does other lending sources over time. Your Dealer Rater post was made in October and we have no idea of the structure of your final deal with another dealer seven months later. I do not believe that 0% for 60 months has been offered on Prius since March. When you visited us, you mentioned that your wife had good credit, but she was not part of the deal. We quoted you a rate based on your credit score “as posted” on our showroom floor. At Miller Toyota we post the available finance rates on a large easel for all to see. If we offered you an extended term purchase plan, it was no doubt an attempt to meet a payment expectation. Realizing that a customer can anonymously rate us, to what end does deception lead; angry customers, loss of business and a lot of time by all parties? Hello Ken. I do feel that the manager lady was only trying to deceive us thinking we didn't speak or know "sufficient" English. That is a not a good way to do business. We clearly stated we want 60 months NOT 72 months. FYI, we went to the "other" dealer the very next day. This is a place to rate a dealer and I am simply sharing what happened to me with others. Only reason I posted this 7 month later was because I was asked to be on a survey on my purchase about Prius and it asked about what other dealers i've visited and it brought back all the bad memories.

Dear Bobby, We appreciate your comments regarding our sales person and our sales process. Our organization is extremely concerned about your opinions regarding the protection plans you purchased. There appears to be some misunderstanding regarding the exceptionally valuable warranties that are part of the protection items purchased. I am reaching out to you again and asking that you please contact me directly so that some level of understanding can be reached. Personally, I would not own a vehicle without the protection packages and warranties. There is comfort to me knowing that my $1000 windshield permanently damaged by a rock would be replaced at no-charge and that my vehicle would be repainted at no-charge if damaged by acid rain, tree sap or bird droppings. Consider that a seat permanently stainedby coffee, grease, ketchup or a soda can cost $1200 to replace. I am aware of many happy customers who were relieved when they realized their investment was a good choice. The process for insurance intervention is quick and easy. Thank you for your business!
