I am 68 years old, since I was 15, I have purchased 27 autos or trucks....I have never looked forward to going into a car dearlership to make a purchase...car salesmen are like carnival workers who are t autos or trucks....I have never looked forward to going into a car dearlership to make a purchase...car salesmen are like carnival workers who are trying to pick your pocket and lie to you about everthing. My wife and I went to several dealerships in our area looking for either a truck or auto. I was really getting tired of the whole thing. I happen to bring up Miller Auto on the internet and thought we would give them a try. After looking around outside at the inventory and not being hasseled, we decided to go to the inside show room. We wondered around for a little bit, looking over the inventory....and then possibly the nicest car salesman I have ever met, STEVE NELSON, asked if we needed help. He wasn't pushy or had any lingo to throw at us...he let us look around on our own, so we could decide what we wanted. That was on a Wensday, we told him we wanted to go home for a couple of days to decide what we wanted and that was fine with him. We came back on Friday and we still didn't know what we wanted...he gave us some suggestions, which helped us to decided on a car. I have purchased numerous new trucks over the last 40 years and working with Adrian to purchase my new 2013 Sierra was by far the easiest and most efficient experience I have encountered. Adrian was very responsive to all of my emails and phone calls and was waiting for me when I arrived at the dealership everything was ready to go. After signing the paperwork (Scott Braaten was great!), Adrian help me transfer my personal items from my other truck to the new Sierra - luckily he thought of a few things I would have forgotten! He went over the vehical features and wrote down some information for me to transfer my Sirius subscription. Everything went extremely smooth and it didn't take the usual five hours or so as it did at Valley GMC, Wilcox Chev or Apple Valley Ford in past years. I was impressed to say the least. I contacted Miller Auto Plaza after using USAA's Car Buying Service and receiving a certificate from Miller Auto as a certified dealership. After being put in contact with Justin and letting him know the kind of vehicle I was looking for -- a 2013 Buick Encore -- Justin began working on finding the exact type of vehicle I was looking for. I live in the Twin Cities and while there were closer Buick dealers to me, many of which I contacted during my search, Justin was always very prompt in returning my phone calls and getting in contact with me to let me know what he was finding during the search for my Encore. I will admit to being very picky about vehicles and I knew the exact type of Encore I wanted, including the color, options and model. Once we found the vehicle that matched what I was looking for, Justin was very diligent in working with me to get the vehicle to Miller Auto so I could purchase the vehicle from Miller Auto, which was important to me since they are certified through USAA. The first time I met Justin in-person and visited Miller Auto was when I arrived to finalize the purchase of my Encore and drive the vehicle away. The purchase went very smoothly and Justin did a great job of showing me the ins and outs of my new Buick Encore. I am very happy with my purchase and will recommend Miller Auto and Justin to any of my friends in the market for a new car. We came to Miller Auto Center with the idea to purchase a used vehicle with better gas mileage, we left with a brand new 2014 Nissian Altima. Steve Nelson and I had a mtg set up for 7 p.m. to discuss best price on the Sierra and best price for my trade. He was extremely helpful in showing me the pickups that were in stock. And, once I had settled in on my choice, he made the entire negotiating process very smooth, and was considerate of any concerns that I brought up. I would recommend Miller Auto Plaza for a 'gold star' dealership and would highly recommend Steve Nelson to be the salesperson on a vehicle transaction, because of his friendliness, knowledge and professionalism. Additionally, in the finance part of this, Joe Handeland was very knowledgeable and helpful with this process.
