Rogue snow embedded/wet air filter I brought in my 2014 Rogue for ongoing issues with the car "stalling" out or power reduction when driving in snowy conditions. I described the probl I brought in my 2014 Rogue for ongoing issues with the car "stalling" out or power reduction when driving in snowy conditions. I described the problems I had as well as the error messages that were showing up on the car's message center. The codes had been reset, but I actually had the code occur on my way to the dealership and it apparently "cleared" itself when I shut off the car in the service entrance. The service department was unable to find any past codes or recreate the issue. They did a great job on advising me of several other recall issues on the Rogue, which they addressed promptly during my service appointment. However, they were unable to determine what was causing the main issue I came in for. They did not recognize the issue from my description of the problems I had previously and were unable to recreate the issue when driving it on their own. They advised me to come back when it happened again. Within 30 to 40 minutes of driving the vehicle after leaving my service appointment, the Rogue stalled out completely. I got the vehicle started again and turned back around to have Miller look at it again while it was acting up. I stalled out 3 more times in the 10 mile drive back to the dealership, but, luckily was able to get it back to them for service. The error message was visible and they determined that it was related to a known issue relating to snow getting into the air filter/intake system. This caused a sensor error which would then shut down the vehicle. I was advised that there was a service bulletin that had been sent out on this issue. The service department then advised that several other vehicles had called or stopped into Miller that same day with the same issue. I was slightly frustrated with the fact this was not recognized on my first visit to the service department when I found out there was a service bulletin issued on the problem. I was very unhappy to find out that this design flaw would not be covered as a recall/warranty issue by Nissan. I had to pay just under $500 to have it fixed which seems ludicrous to me due to the fact that the issue was caused by poor design. The service team was very helpful, responsive to my issues, and courteous throughout my visits. However, I knew that I would have to come back to have the reoccurring issue addressed and I did not even make it home before the issue repeated itself. More

Miller Buick asked if I could leave the car overnight and provided a loaner vehicle. They found the problem and although it was necessary to order in a repair part, this posed no problem. The repairs were performed under warranty and the car has performed flawlessly since then. More
