I have been coming to this dealership for 8 years for service and always had great experiences with them, this past experience has me questioning whether or not I will return. I went in for a simple NY service and always had great experiences with them, this past experience has me questioning whether or not I will return. I went in for a simple NY state inspection and the standard 5,000 mileage service; i.e. oil change, etc. I had to go through 4 visits to have this completed; first day 6.5 hours, second 1.25 hours, third 1.0, and the fourth was 6 hours but I was shuttled back and forth to get my car. The initial visit seemed a success but my first trip on the highway (2 days later) the tire pressure gauge light came on, I went back and was taken to the front to have this corrected. I left again all seeming okay, and the same problem happened again. I called and explained and had an appointment for the following day, this time it was only a few miles after I left that the light went back on. I pulled over, checked my pressure and noticed that the tire caps were missing (I do not know at what visit they went missing, they were on when I initially brought the car in). I called the dealership immediately, which was 10 minutes after leaving. I was not able to get a hold of anyone, I called all day, leaving multiple messages (about 10 or so) and only speaking to the phone representative who was wonderful in trying to get me to a live employee. Finally at about 3pm that day, 4.5 hours after I left I was finally called by a manager to discuss. I felt that my time, patience, and good nature were taken advantage of. I was told repeatedly that the car was old, a 2005... Toyota has always stood by having cars that are in great condition and do not fall apart... why was I being taken for a ride? More
We have been leasing Toyotas since 1999. I would not go to any other dealership than this one. We tried another dealership once and got o.k. Service, but not like Millennium Toyota service. Vinny Matthews has been our favorite salesman to deal with. He doesn't shovel B.S. and he knows my budget and doesn't look to blow it. We choose to lease because it keeps the monthly payments low and my wife and I get the luxury of having a new car ever few years. We have two kids and need a practical, reliable car at all times. We've had two Carollas, one Camry, three Siennas and now, our first Highlander. We love it. Vinny listened to our changing car needs and didn't try to over-sell us. This time around we wanted a 7 passenger SUV, but didn't need the rugged and pricey 4runner or sequoia. Vinny took time to show us a bunch of pre-owned Highlanders, but in the end, we simply didn't have the budget to buy one. Leasing works for us and we were able to do a no down payment lease that was within our budget and had the few bells and whistles (Bluetooth, 7 pass seating, V6) that we wanted. Vinny had been tied up with another customer when we got to the dealer, so Angelo stepped up to do the test drive with us. He was also very helpful and friendly, even though he knew we were Vinny's customers. I was not surprised or annoyed Vinny was busy, he is a great salesman and has MANY repeat customers because he is such a cool guy. Another note: I don't know if every customer gets this, but for any service appointments that require a whole day or more, we always get a free rental replacement while the work is being done. All it takes is a phone call to Vinny, to hook us up! We had a bunch of dings in the last leased car that needed minor body repair, so that is why we had to take the car in. Normally, we don't need to leave the car. If there was one improvement needed, it would be the service department. I take my car back toToyota for the free oil changes and maintenance and I have been stuck waiting for several hours for an oil change that should take a no more than forty minutes. It's free, so I guess that was the trade off. Overall, I love this dealership. More
After having a wonderful car buying experience at this dealership last October I have to say that the only good thing that came out of my car getting totalled 7 months later is that I was able to repeat t dealership last October I have to say that the only good thing that came out of my car getting totalled 7 months later is that I was able to repeat the amazing service at Millenium Toyota when purchasing a replacement vehicle. This dealership has outstanding service and offers good value. The service area is also well handled and quick [I was only there for maintenance but was pleased and surprised] Double thumbs up guys! James opened the front door with a big smile and a friendly greeting. Brian was patient (I am a very cautious buyer) and really knew his product. In the end, it comes down to price and we were able to make what I considered to be a fair deal. Alisa clinched it by finding me a rebate. Rob was unable to sell me the GAP or wear coverage, but he was courteous and respected my reasons. Likewise, Maria from the Allstate office was friendly, efficient and worked hard to get the car insured after hours, so that I could drive it out. I didn't expect to drive away with a car last evening, but I am very pleased with the car and the experience of entering into the lease. More
We came into the dealership not looking to buy a car, but Brian's friendly, not pushy attitude made us comfortable enough to not only test drive a Four Runner, we bought it as well! Joe, Mike, Sam and Brian were all super nice, friendly, knowledgeable and I felt they went above and beyond, expecially, Joe who was sweating bullets in 90 degree weather putting wheel locks on for me. I never felt pressured. Everyone who directly assisted me, Brian Tighe, Anthony Santi, and Alisa Sukwanitkun, was patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful. While Brian met me on my initial visit to the showroom, many other employees greeted me and offered to assist me as I wandered about. Although he never mentioned it, I believe that perhaps Brian may have come in today (July 1) which may have been his day off, because I had indicated previously that it would be convenient for my wife and me to complete our purchase today. I only dealt with Alisa today to deliver my payment and to sign the necessary paperwork. The whole process only took 15-20 minutes and was smooth and pleasant. Anthony has gone out of his way to create a genuinely congenial atmosphere. He made me feel like family, and I had occasion to observe him interacting with other customers, and I saw that he seemed to have the same effect on them as well. I've been around, and I'm very good at sensing superficiality in others, and I saw none of that with these folks at Millennium Toyota. They, in particular, and the establishment as a whole exudes a sense of quiet confidence in their product and services. I received several overtures from other dealerships in my area including several other Toyota dealerships. I bought my Highlander at Millenium Toyota.
