Won't accept leased car return - no room on lot I called to arrange to return my leased Hyundai. Was asked if I leased it from them. I asked why she is asking me that, because I am supposed to b I called to arrange to return my leased Hyundai. Was asked if I leased it from them. I asked why she is asking me that, because I am supposed to be able to return my car to ANY Hyundai dealer. She responded that she was instructed to tell anyone that calls that didn't lease from them that they have no room on the lot (obviously meaning that they only have room on the lot if you leased from them). Hyundai Finance was notified of this practice. I would never trust this dealer if you are looking to buy, lease or service any vehicle with them, More

The worst customer service I have ever experienced . The service department is a nightmare, it starts to go south at check in. I went in for a recall and the experience was horrible. They kept the car for two days only to find out they didn’t have the proper replacement part. It got worse from there on. I met a great sales person James Jones and he was very polite and knowledgeable. I HIGHLY recommend him if you are looking for a new car. Please go to him, he was patient and understood how big a purchase a car is. I highly recommend him as well as the financing department of this dealership. They did not try to upsell me on anything and had my interest in mind, which was very surprising. I am happy I ended up here and I am very happy with my new car. Although the blue-link seems to be not working everything else is fantastic on my new car. Thank you James for a fantastic car buying experience. More
Engine/Service Loaner unavailable 30plus days wait My car is at dealership since December 18 and as of January I7 I am still awaiting a service loner. My engine went as a result of a recall and I have been without a car since. I have rented on 2 different occasions and can not afford to tie up my credit awaiting a loaner. I have called serveral times to speak service manager Joe he has yet to return my phone call. I have reached out to corporate office who is now working on first refund for rental vechcile. This is my 3 Hyundai and have never incountered this type of issues before this. I don’t plan on purchasing a fourth Hyunda. I have also reached our dealership manager left message and he has yet to return that call. More
Further to my previous review - "Infuriating" Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse-- after having my car serviced for an oil leak and again two days later for a check engine light--the li Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse-- after having my car serviced for an oil leak and again two days later for a check engine light--the light came back, I brought the car in to another Hyundai dealer and they told me that something had not been tightened when I last had my car in for service and there was oil leaked all over my engine and a part had to be replaced. I told them I would not pay for the repair if the damage was caused by the Hempstead dealer. When service called the dealer in Hempstead they were informed that they would not take responsibility for the repair. Will never go back! Previous Post below-- Brought my 2017 Hyundai Sonata in for an oil leak 9/19/18. While I was waiting they double-parked my car and got a $65.00 ticket. They did not inform me about the ticket. I brought my car back on the 21st because some lights came on. When I called to check on the status of my car they told me it was a warning light, not a check engine light. I was charged $146.00 to check for a check engine light. They were aware of the ticket and did not deduct the $65.00. I got a notice about the ticket a week later and when I called they told me they were aware of the ticket, and didn't anyone tell me? I have called at least 3 or 4 times since then. Each time they told me they paid the ticket. I asked them for proof that it was paid, they told me they would get back to me and each time and they never did. The ticket was due on 10/15 so I paid it. Called again on 10/18 and spoke with the Assistant Manager (every time I call they tell me the manager is not there). He assured me that he would look into it and get back to me. Once again no call back. To add insult to injury, I checked my oil a week after I brought the car in and found a rag on the top of my engine that was left there. I want reimbursement for the ticket. They have been giving me the run around for a month now. I have leased three cars here and my daughter just leased one ----NEVER AGAIN!! More
