He listened to what I wanted and worked with me to get as close to my ideal purchase as possible. I was unable to take the car with me the day I purchased it and Adeleke came in on his vacation day to meet me and hand over the car-- very impressive customer service! I saved money on my car insurance too because part of the dealership includes an Allstate insurance company staff who were also helpful and easy to deal with ( no high pressure sales tactics) and very professional. Vicki from the welcome team sat with me in the car to assure I understood all of the features before I left the lot. When I got home I noticed 2 small scratches on the trunk which Adeleke showed a manager who assured me I can bring the car back in to have their service staff deal with the scratches. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience at Millennium Honda in Hempstead. My saleman was Jamal. He was great to deal with. Tell him I sent you there. You wont be upset. I left the dealership yesterday feeling good about my purchase. I dont have any doubt or regrets. Also I would like to add this is a very nice dealership. The place was well organized, clean and very well lighted. Their bathroom was clean and the waiting area was well stocked. However its a vending machine but the price was very reasonable. Although the coffee was free. More
I was in a financial bind and wanted to trade my car for a less expensive model. While discussing my monthly payments with the finance manager, somehow if I took the extended warranty my interest rate was 6 a less expensive model. While discussing my monthly payments with the finance manager, somehow if I took the extended warranty my interest rate was 6 points lower than if I chose to decline the warranty. basically making the price the same either way. What BS!! As if the bank will lower my rate if I take an over $2k warranty from the dealer? Total deception, and this is why car salespeople have the WORST reputation of any sales field!! Not only that but after telling Kabir that the tread on the tires looked low, I was reassured that they passed certification only to find out that I could skid in the rain (literally on way home from dealer, with 4 wheel drive?!?!) and immediately after purchasing one had a leak. The dealer then said I had to pay the exorbitant service charge to repair it!! Zero accountability!! They don't realize that if a sale is done this way they lose any referrals or repeat business in the future. That's short sighted. What should be an exciting time became frustrating and discouraging. They suck! More
