My first time at Millenium Honda in Hempstead. I took my car here for new rear brakes 2 weeks ago. It took a reasonable 2 hours from the time I brought the car in to the time I drove away after service; considering it was a Saturday morning. The employees were friendly and the price for rear brakes were on par with other dealers/repair shops. Will I take my 2006 Accord back at Millenium Honda for additional service? Most likely. Overall experience was satisfactory. More
Friendly from the moment you walk into the door. Courteous, well knowledge salespersons look to help meet your needs and acomidate you. Enjoyable environment and a great overall experience. Even b Courteous, well knowledge salespersons look to help meet your needs and acomidate you. Enjoyable environment and a great overall experience. Even better pricing. By far one of my best purchases and experiences at a dealership. Highly recommended!! Great job Guys and gotta love those Honda's. More
THey are the rudest most incompetent people in the entire industry. After agreeing to a price on a car for my employee, I came in to sign paperwork so the process could be as quick as possible. The following industry. After agreeing to a price on a car for my employee, I came in to sign paperwork so the process could be as quick as possible. The following day I went in with my employee to pick up the car and sign the last few papers. Not only did they screw up all the paperwork, theey claimed they could not register the car. 3 hours later, I walked out, but not before the "manager' Robert Pucci cursed at me because I told him he was wrong. Guess he didn't like that a person off the street new more about cars than a "professional" Next morning after confirming that I was right with DMV, I went to PS Honda in Manhasset, got the same price and was done in 30 minutes with respect. Finally Steve Sutton, the manager, owner whatever is even worse. Don't ever buy a car for them. They have cheap rates, but Honda dealers are all over. Get their rate and have a real dealership match it. More
Was given a deal on Sunday night and when I picked up the car on Monday night (after canceling my old 2003 Honda Odyssey insurance and replacing it with the new insurance) was told that the deal I agreed upo car on Monday night (after canceling my old 2003 Honda Odyssey insurance and replacing it with the new insurance) was told that the deal I agreed upon was not to be upheld and that my payments were to be approx. $35 more. I was not given a call informing me of this and I had no choice at 8:15 at night about what I could do. In my mind it was a classic case of unprofessional conduct. I did not receive back calls form the dealership when I complained the following day and was given improper information about my credit score as a reason for the change. Filed a complaint with American Honda who instructed the General Manager of the dealership to contact me and he hasn't. I was a repeat Honda customer and obviously I will never deal with this dealership or recommend this dealership to anyone in the future. I had other choices (continue leasing the 2003 Odyssey or going to a different automotive maker. I've leased 6 Lexus's and bought Toyota's in the past and I'm sure they wouldn't have treated me this way). In fact, two days later I went with my daughter to help her with a lease (she leased a Mini Cooper) and she was given much better courtesy than I was at Millenium. She received a call back at 9:00 AM the next day with a slight change. I was never given that courtesy. In addition, I'm a CFO at a mortgage company and I know when my credit was pulled and saw that Millenium pulled it at the time of the original quote so there should have been no bait and switch. More
Beware of this dealership, they are complete crooks. Bought a car from them last year after seeing their ad of carfinder. First they added some misc fees that added up to 1500 which i have no idea what Bought a car from them last year after seeing their ad of carfinder. First they added some misc fees that added up to 1500 which i have no idea what its for. Next they changed the price of the car on the day i was signing the papers, and then come the presure tactics from MR. Haresh nainani - the financial guy - he wants you to buy all this insurance, extended warranty, and what not. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE TOTAL RIPOFF. Gave me mismatched tires, and in the end jacked up the price of the car form the online add to about $3000 more. STAY AWAY. More
We agreed on a lease for a vehicle. They would match the price offered by another dealer on Long Island. A month later they called me to say, that they wanted to "unwind" the lease. The price they gave w price offered by another dealer on Long Island. A month later they called me to say, that they wanted to "unwind" the lease. The price they gave was too low. They called me at home/work and harrased me for a few weeks and threatened to take away the lease vehicle. I contacted Honda customer service and the BBB who helped stop the harrassment. Personally, I would not touch this dealership ever again. Its one thing getting a price that is competitive. But the headache and harrassment that I got afterwards was not worth it. If I did something wrong, I could at least understand it. But in the case of Millenium, if they do something wrong, the customer should also pay. More
They overcharged my purchase of a used car, and is being over a month that they promised me to send my check for the overcharge on the price. You can't get in touch with the billing department. You only over a month that they promised me to send my check for the overcharge on the price. You can't get in touch with the billing department. You only can talk to "Elmo" (the financial guy, that does the paperwork) I will be sending a letter to the Main Honda dealer and if I don't get my refund on my money soon I will be calling "Help me Howard from channel 11) More
I recently purchased a2003 suburu forrestor from this dealership iwas told I could have a better price if I purchased the car that day. I gave them my credit card for a deposit on the car until I gave th dealership iwas told I could have a better price if I purchased the car that day. I gave them my credit card for a deposit on the car until I gave them a check for the agreed amt My credit was then supposed to be voided off the bill as agreed. When I got my statement they had charged my account and told I WAS MISTAKEN ha ha.This dealership has a habit of slipping these hidden amounts into their business dealings. I called them many many times and did not get a call back from them only after many calls I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE. I'VE tried to settle this problem with them but so far to no avail Maybe i'm wrong but reading the other ratings on the net about this dealership I think not .Honda of america should be more careful with the people they have representing them. The bottom line is not selling a car but creating a partner ship with the person you sell the vehicle to.In conclusion BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP read every contract carefully get signatures and names of anyone you deal with and have them initial anything they say. Every experience at Millenium Honda is painful. Everything from getting the right amount of keys, carfax report, manuals to the 150 point inspection for Certified pre-owned cars is impossible. Thei Everything from getting the right amount of keys, carfax report, manuals to the 150 point inspection for Certified pre-owned cars is impossible. Their customer service ends when the ink dries on the sale slip, do not expect them to return your calls. Doing business here will make you wish you had paid higher prices elsewhere. I was promised a rebate for referring a customer and have been trying to get my money for weeks to no avail. The professionalism is non-existent at Millenium Honda. I will not recommend this dealership to any other friends. My friend has had nothing but problems and I am embarrassed for having recommended them. More
