The sales guy asked me to check the car before drove it home This review is also posted on Yelp. On Saturday, March 27, I purchased 2021 Civic Sport. The sales guy asked me to check the car before drove it home. My big mistake was I was too much focus to check the body, make sure there is no dents and visible scratches. I totally forgot to inspect the tires and wheels. After I drove the car home, which only took 20 min and parked my new car in the garage, I suddenly saw deep scratches on the wheel. I Immediately called the sales guy and he asked me to drive the car back to dealer to show it to sales manager. The sales manager came out to see the damages and took pictures. I asked him if the dealer can replace the damage wheels but he said they would probably fix it. I have doubt if the wheel can be fixed because the scratches is deep. He told me the service dept would call me on Monday. On Monday, March 29, I emailed my sales person saying that no one from the dealer called me. The sales manager replied to my email on Tuesday saying he would reach out to service dept and reach out to me ASAP. I tried to email again on Wednesday to follow up but he never get back to me. it is really unfair to expect the customer to inspect the vehicle ourselves to make sure everything is ok. Off course we need to check, but the dealer also has a responsibility to inspect the vehicle to make sure everything is ok and no damage before selling it to customer. I am still waiting for sales manager to contact me and I do hope the Mile HighHonda can replace the damaged wheel with a new one. More
We were stranded 2/3 into our cross country drive.
