Sometimes they alert me that some part of my vehicle is misbehaving and still under warranty, even if it’s unrelated to the reason I brought it in. Pricing is always fair. They usually find more than I’m prepared to fix that day, and they do a great job of telling me without pressuring me. I’m just always happy when I leave. These guys have won my business forever. I have had terrible experiences with another Subaru service department so decided to try Mike Shaw Subaru based on online reviews. They were perfect! Very professional and efficient! I had been told by the other place that a broken rearview mirror holder couldn't be replaced for less than $750 and I could call the corporate office myself if I wanted to ask warranty questions. Aidan at Mike Shaw Subaru immediately explained the mirror was under warranty, no charge to me, and would be replaced promptly! This group is why nobody enjoys car buying through a dealership. First they tried to overcharge me twice. They had lowered the price online three days prior but when I went to purchase, the paperwork ha dealership. First they tried to overcharge me twice. They had lowered the price online three days prior but when I went to purchase, the paperwork had the old price. Then, once that was corrected, they added on a handling fee of over $600, which my salesman told me I wouldn’t need to pay, so that got corrected again. Each correction lasting 30 minutes. Then over a month later I went into DMV to register it and they hadn’t received the paperwork yet. Always fun waiting in DMV lines. I called the dealership and left 3 voice messages and sent an email, asking for a return call regarding my purchase. Crickets. Go Carvana. More
