I had already done 2 reviews right after we bought our new used car, a 2019 Honda HR-V. But I couldn’t find the reviews to “ADD AN UPDATE”. One the reviews wasn’t even written by me. The Sales Woman, Jaim new used car, a 2019 Honda HR-V. But I couldn’t find the reviews to “ADD AN UPDATE”. One the reviews wasn’t even written by me. The Sales Woman, Jaime Chu, took my phone and she wanted to write the review so she could make sure it would say all the right things. It kind of bothered me, especially when she went into my pictures without telling me or even asking. She wanted a picture of myself with the car, which I had taken few of. I felt very uncomfortable & violated. Being that I can’t find the first 2 reviews I’m going to just write a new review to “UPDATE”. We signed paperwork to buy the Honda, but after we left the dealership called us to inform us that they could save us about $20 a month. We just need to come back in to resign the paperwork. We were so happy to get the payment lowered even for just a little bit. Along with the vehicle we got 2 year Warranty. Now our loan was supposed to be for 6 years, but this is where the Dealership “SCREWS” you. When you get a Warranty for 2 years you have to pay for it for the full 6 years. Our Payments were supposed to be around $500 and some and with the Warranty the Payments went up to around $744 a month. When went back to resign the paperwork, they changed the INTEREST RATE from 19% to 20.33%. So you might question then. How would we get a low payment? Well, they raised the number of months we would pay on the loan from 72 months to 75 months. On the first contract they had higher TAX AMOUNTS and on the second contract they had lower TAX AMOUNTS. Now keep in mind that the price of the vehicle was the same on both contracts, which was higher than they told us. Also the taxes were the same percentage on both contracts, because our address is our address that didn’t change. But somehow the taxes were different. How does that work? It looks fishy, they just decide to charge whatever taxes they want to make the work for them. Same thing with the Warranty Contract, they charged one numbers amount to lower the Extended Service Contract just low enough to make the numbers work to make it look like we’re getting a deal! And “Wha La” like magic our monthly PAYMENTS are around $20 less. So, we are NOW the lucky proud owners of a HIGHER INTEREST RATE, PAYING FOR 3 MORE EXTRA MONTHS, and GETTING US TO BELIEVE THEY DID US THIS REALLY GREAT FAVOR, by just TWEAKING THE TAXES and PLAYING WITH ONE BEGINNING AMOUNT IN THE WARRANTY TO MAKE THE NUMBERS ALL WORK OUT!!! LIKE THEY ALWAYS SAY “NEVER TRUST AN AUTO DEALERSHIP OR THEIR SALES PERSON!!!!!! BOY OH BOY THIS TRUEST THING YOU WILL EVER HEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More

Mike Shaw takes great care of every customer regardless of their apparent financial situation. There is no pressure to buy and no big promises made that don't show up in the final contract. Everything is exactly what it seems at face value. They have very knowledgeable staff who know enough about their customers to make recommendations for them. When I've come in for service (which we always get at Mike Shaw), Cliff always recognizes me and greets me by name, and asks about my family (also by name). He is a five-star sales representative all the way down to the $2 bill he attaches to the gas cap which we discover during our first fill-up. These small touches make a huge difference and make me feel confident that we got a square deal that was perfectly suited to our family. We will continue to recommend this dealership and Cliff to everyone we know (and the education community is FULL of Subaru owners!). Additionally, having their tech expert contact us to review all the features of the car after the sale was a really nice touch. There's a lot in these cars these days and knowing we have an expert a phone call away is awesome. Also, it's so cool that they made a donation to a charity in our name. This demonstrates how Subaru shows excellent citizenship in our community. What a great company! More

Throughout the process Cliff made it his personal mission to make sure all of my needs as the customer were more the met. Every question I had was answered clearly and concicley. Additionally it can't be under stated how profesional the finace department was as well. Randon that helped me get all the Fincaces in order explained everything in a clear manor without leaving out any pertinent details and ensured I never felt preasured into anything as the buyer. Thanks to the outstanding preformance of Cliff, Randon as well as the rest off the staff at Mike Shaw I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is the place to make your purchase. More

So when my daughters Subaru blew up I had to make a purchase. Cliff Swain was referred by our service advisor Brandon. What a fantastic choice. Even though we didn’t buy from Cliff due to me being GM preferred, and being able to write off a significant amount of points with my GM rewards card, I ultimately had to take the other vehicle. BUT because I was so impressed by Cliff, I had to say something here! IF you’re a Subaru buyer, come see Cliff. He’s professional knowledgeable and isn’t going to steer you in the wrong direction!
