Of equal importance, my follow up phone call to Joe 2 days after I bought the Ford Ranger was handled promptly and competently. My main question was the status of emissions inspection on the vehicle. Turns out this is not a requirement in Troup County, but is in the county I live in. Joe responded by saying that I should get the inspection done, bring in the receipt, and the dealer would reimburse me. That is outstanding customer service. More

Of the three times I've gone through the new car buying process, this was the least painful. I'm the sort of person that worries over the numbers, and I don't want to feel that I'm paying any more than I process, this was the least painful. At first I was skeptical about the "no haggle" policy of this dealership and the "documentation fee". I knew from my past purchases that dealerships will often drop the "documentation fee" and several other bogus fees if you call them on it. Kimberly explained that Mike Patton Honda won't drop the fee but they also don't charge any unnecessary additional fees such as "underbody rust protection" or "paint sealer". Still skeptical, I took the quote from Kimberly and for two weeks shopped around at other dealerships. I secretly wanted Kimberly to call me back and say that she convinced her manager to drop the fee. Instead, it was me who called Kimberly back and asked if she still had my vehicle available because her deal was the best around. I never felt like Mike Patton Honda was trying to get as much money as they could from me as I have from other dealerships. They had a price for the car and they wouldn't budge on it; and it was a great price. More

I have been looking for a great used SUV for about 8 months to a year. I looked everywhere…in LaGrange, out of town and back to LaGrange. I knew that I was looking for specific options for my first purchase. After several, several months of visiting these lots and websites, I decided to give Patton another go. Every time I went to the website a Ford Edge would appear. It had everything I was looking for and it was a great price. Once I knew I was interested in test driving, I called Crystal Ward and told her I wanted to come drive it. She immediately put me in for an appointment that day after work. It was almost closing time when I arrived and I was kind of worried that I would be rushed into a decision. When I got to the dealership, she had the vehicle waiting and ready to start doing whatever we needed. I knew the minute I sat in it, I was going to buy it that night if possible. We talked, ran numbers, and they gave me way more than I was expecting for my trade in. It was great to be able to tell her what I wanted, what I was willing to pay, and NO HASSELING! Just a couple of hours later I drove away in the vehicle I wanted. It was a great experience for purchasing my first car! They have everything you are looking for!!
