Best "car buying" experience in 21 years!! I have always been skeptical of the "hard sell" tactics practiced by so many auto sales persons...in fact, several times in the past, when I was truly I have always been skeptical of the "hard sell" tactics practiced by so many auto sales persons...in fact, several times in the past, when I was truly interested in "looking," pressure from a sales person encroaching on my space resulted in me politely walking away from that dealership. NOT SO at Mike Patton Honda. In fact, "I" approached a young salesperson who had just finished talking with a customer in the lot; asked him a question about CRV's, and he immediately, and politely, took me on a test drive. I "thought" the CRV was THE car I wanted. However, after taking it overnight for a test drive, I realized I didn't need that room, but more comfort and better gas mileage. Mr. Portwood, asked more about what I "needed," and recommended a Honda Accord....I drove one, also overnight...liked it, but asked about the Honda "Sport." It was one of Mr. Portwood's favorites....he lit up when I asked if I could sit in it....we did, and he took me on a test drive. THAT was going to be MY car! EVERYONE with whom I came in contact at Mike Patton Honda, Matt, Chuck, Mark, EVEN the Patton boys themselves!!....All were so friendly, NOT pushy at all...they were truly there to "serve." Several of us even watched the last few moments of the soccer game in which the US lost, in their waiting area at the end of that day. I felt like I was part of the family. However, had it not been for the friendly enthusiasm of Mr. Portwood, I would probably still be looking at cars. And the final signing of papers was a breeze. Also, the folks at Mike Patton Honda make it a point to make themselves available, even AFTER the sale, to answer questions. I recommend Mike Patton Honda without reservation! They made what can be an anxiety-ridden car-buying experience, actually fun and relaxing! More

Most of them were either played coy about the price or would only give me a price if I came to their dealership. I work 6 days a week, and it's tough for me to shop for a new car, let alone drive out to different dealers just to get a price. Of the quotes I did get, these guys over at Mike Patton gave me by far the best deal -- I even had other Honda dealerships tell me they couldn't even match Mike's price. I made the call to Mike Patton at lunch, and they delivered the car for free by dinner time (and I'm 2.5 hrs away!). I've recommended these guys to all my friends. More

He was professional, very knowledgable and very customer focused. My first stop I only had 45 min and told Ozzie I wanted a price for my trade-in and already knew what I wanted in a new car. The purpose for my stop that day was only to have my trade-in evaluated. He made this happen. In the time they looked at my trade, I asked Ozzy a few questions and was more specific to what I was looking for. I left that day within 45 min and returned 2 days later to pick up my new car. Between a few phone calls and emails, Ozzie communicated with my regarding finding the car I wanted, the additions I was adding , the financing, etc. He made the car buying process very painless. When I arrived to sign paperwork and pick up the car, Ozzie spent more time with me explaining all the features of my new car and setting up all of the personalization. Everything was as I requested and I was very pleased. I will refer this dealership and Ozzie and return for future car purchases. Ozzie was awesome....he listens to his customer and has great customer services skills. More

AWEFUL REVIEW!!! I could not find one honest employee at Mike Patton Honda in LaGrange this morning (Sat., May 24, 2014) to support the quote I was told originally and I could not find one honest employee at Mike Patton Honda in LaGrange this morning (Sat., May 24, 2014) to support the quote I was told originally and subsequently told my mom (who by the way is a senior citizen on a fixed income). The deal agreed: $235 monthly, with no money down and no trade. Upon her long travel from Alabama to Georgia, every party involved (finance officer and business manager) decided to support Mr. Ozzy's story (lie) that involved me agreeing to use my mother's car as a $1K trade in order to reach the $235. First, I give my mom's car away, and secondly, not once was a $1K trade mentioned in this agreement. Sure, Mr. OZZY asked about whether I was trading and I informed him no. Furthermore, my stated was concluded with Mr. Ozzie by restating what we originally agreed: ZERO MONEY DOWN AND NO TRADE to reach the $235 monthly payment. By the way and just for the record, he responded, "Yes." I could go on, but why? If you've ever purchased a car from a thirsty, hungry car salesman, you've undoubtedly dealt with this kind of fraudulent behavior. SHAME, SHAME , SHAME, ON MR.
