Let me begin by apologizing for the issues you are having with your 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid; we know how frustrating it can be to have purchased a vehicle that you cannot drive. We take every customer complaint very seriously and your accusations are genuinely concerning to us. You mentioned you did not purchase the car from Mike Murphy Ford, it was purchased from Lighthouse and then you started having issues. As every customer would do, you took your Fusion back to Lighthouse for diagnosis and repair. When Lighthouse found they could not correct the issue, called us to set an appointment to have it diagnosed. We have a business relationship with Lighthouse and when there is an issue with a Ford product on their lot or that they sell, they bring them to us to fix. This is where the communication breaks down. We advised Lighthouse service department, Matt Kimmy, when he called our service advisor, Kevin Neill, to have the vehicle serviced that we were terribly busy and backed up and it would take at least a month before we could start to work on it. Lighthouse dropped it off anyway and told us to get to it when we could. We did take the vehicle in and diagnosed the issue and relayed the information back to Lighthouse. Because of the issue, Ford requires further testing and diagnosis to determine the warranty coverage of the issues. This information was also provided to Lighthouse. Considering everything that has occurred, the owner and the Service Management team will be meeting with Lighthouse to ensure proper communication is being conducted between both Service Departments.
